Size is not as important as sensitivity and capacity of sensor cells, and while in general large sensors c an be better in theory, in practice there are many small sensors with larger cells, better color and detail, as long as the lens us sharp. As a crossover I also recommend less "bells and whistles" and these cameras shoot beautifully in full manual mode with excellent ISO and Color control along with aperture, shutter speed, and have brought me happily out of landscape and portrait and P mode happily, though they are available. Apologies for iPad typos.

Thank you, I didn't know the thread was about interchangeable lenses. By point of fact the evf is around $300. If it doesn't have to be a mirrored, I can vouch for the fujifilm Ex 1 there are about 20 lenses, prime and variable, an spectacular sensor, and great detail, in a relatively small size, the bigger version is the pro one andxe1 comes with a TTL viewfinder and the pro comes with a Hybred .DP writes a very good technical analysis, but I will add thatthe lack of of a de-moire pass and the random color cell Sensor makes aguments overb sensor asize, unless you get intom pto full size or mid size camera sensors moot. This camera blows up 11x19 inch photos at 300 dpi with great color. Because the extra and unneeded mirrors are absent, the price is under $1000 and thebsize is excellent. The lens quality for their x mount has gotten good reviews from dp, luminous landscape etv and the camera can be fitted with an adaptor for Zeiss lenses if you need.
