Good ones. You should just set your camera out at night and let to its thing.

I lucked out once - best not to be sloppy all the time.

Okay, a few more. The first is actually an unintentional long exposure taken when my camera was brand new. I had no idea what I was doing.

Thanks, Pat. It is the standard composition but I got lucky with the light and clouds.

Hi Photophile, thanks for hosting. A really good subject/challenge. Some really good postings thus far, I really like your #3 image. Here are a couple of my humble contributions.

We must hang around some of the same places. I have a few shots of that bridge but none with reflections. Just curious but where did you take the balloon shot. It's a beauty.

Still reflecting, but can't decide.

I lean toward the first but it's a close call.

Reflections in photos are some of my favorites, I would enjoy seeing your reflection photos.

I really like your third photo and the flamingos.

A big thumbs up to whoever came up with this topic. Reflections are one of the main reasons I became interested in photography years ago. I can't get enough of them. So this post will be my "freshwater series." Ocean water to be posted later. The first one here is one of the first digital photos I ever took. From my kayak with my 6 megapixel Canon point and shoot.

Beautiful shots, Mike. What I love about fog is it enables you to "feel" as well as see a photograph.

Film is far from dead. I belong to a local Facebook photo group and , through it, just sold my Nikon F3 to a college student who claims to have about 18 film cameras and uses only film for hi still photography.

For these shots, I just followed my wife around the house while she watered and tended to all her plants.
