I found this Old Cannon in Selma, AL.
Welcome to UHH. Nice shot.
Great pictures! I was teaching a photography class at the park when the park ranger shared this story. "A crew was mowing the weeds in a large city park in Richardson when an elderly gentleman stood in front of the mowers and demanded that they stop. The operator called his superiors and they demanded an explanation. 'The Monarch butterflies hatch here before flying to Mexico. If you remove the Milkweed you destroy thousands of those beautiful butterflies'." That birthing chamber now remains unmowed.
It's not just blondes DJ. I think you posted the earlier story of the weather in Chicago. The warning was for everyone to park your car on the right side so the snowplows could clear the snow. the husband obliged. The next day they asked that everyone park on the left side. The third day their radio went out and the man didn't know where to park the car. His wife said, "Why don't you just leave it in the garage today.
They should have been in Nacogdoches, Texas. That's easy to say and spell.
Unike the air-brushed models, i wondered how you took that shot. Now we know.
When the silver anniversary Corvette came out they were selling for $10,000 above list price. The local dealer called to tell me that my StingRay was here. I asked the price. $13,000.00 the list price. At Taco Bueno recently I met a man from a Chevrolet dealership. He said some Corvettes are $100,000.00 today.
Looks like she was enjoying your second honeymoon in Aruba.
Nothing boring about Byron Center. My wife is in a memory center and they post pictures of art the residents have created. I hope they honor yours in Minnesota.
The Dallas newspaper editor asked me to tell some of the interesting experiences I have had as a wedding photographer. I wish I could have used your story, but of all the stories I told they only chose the one in which I put the video cameras on the floor at the reception to relax. I failed to turn it off though and got action shots of beautiful shoes. Of course the audio was also on so when I was editing the footage a soft female voice said, โI thought she could have done much better,โ
โShakespeare wrote some great plays, he must have had a very good typewriter..!" I have had just the opposite happen. The families tell me what great pictures I take (so I must be a great photographer). I shyly mention that I have a great Nikon digital camera that makes me look good.
When at Princeton, Dr. Einsteiin rode a bicycle to his lab. One of the children of my professor, Hubert Allyea, said, There goes Mrs. Einsteinโ, an obvious mistake because of his long hair.
Paul Harvey said he was driving through a town in Texas that was so small it only had only one red light and only eight Starbucks.
Great picture. Did you get to fish while you were away?
Belton Texas My uncle gave me a free tour also from nearby Ft. Hood but mine was in a different direction. Coming back from Korea later we were on a one-screw ship the General Brewster, in a storm. That makes your beach look even more peaceful.
