Completely agree EL - I don’t care how many spelling errors you make, your in-depth information is worth it 😎. Anyone who knows me on the forum knows I am not one of the “grammar police” - I was just screwing with Willard. I rarely make a post that I don’t have to correct immediately, usually because the spell checker did something unintended, or I got fumble fingered on the touchscreen. The all time worst was an email to our head of engineering, whose first name was Diptish. To my horror, the spell checker corrected it (without me noticing) to “Hello Dipshit”. He thought it was very funny.

There is however another lesson or two from our childhood and parenting here. One is that unnecessary rudeness is never appropriate, and the other is that sometimes, as a parent or frustrated adult, the best thing to do is take a deep breath and do nothing at all.

I hated my Uncle Stanley! As a kid, every time I came home with a grievance about something that happened at school or at play, rather than listens to my issue and give me some adult advice, he would correct my English or pronunciation. That amounts to kicking someone when they are down or calling them "stupid" when they feel they have been mistreated, disservice, scammed. or otherwise unfairly dealt with. All that accomplishes is to cause a person to become angry and anger and rage do solve problems.

Perhaps for all the "English professors" on this forum, I should post this disclaimer with each of my posts- as follows:

"My spelling and grammar are abominable and only exceeded in poorness of my typing skills. My 6th-grade teacher said I shod become a medical doctor because I spoke like doctors write prescriptions. My speech is unintelligible and my writing is illegible. If you can extract a modicum of useful information from this post, you deserve a highly paid position as a cryptic message decoder. If you find this post borders on functional illiteracy, is too long, too short, off-topic or totally disagreeable, kindly do not read it, move on and go away".
