Across the country, different cities, including Seattle, held what was supposed to be a peaceful show of solidarity over the ongoing political unrest in Portland. Unfortunately, the scenario was far from peaceful as protesters threw explosives against law enforcement authorities, leading to more than two dozen police officers injured.

On Sunday, the Seattle Police Department confirmed that twenty-one police officers were injured after the violent physical attack on the department’s East Precinct. Most of the officers sustained knee injuries after a bomb exploded. Moreover, two others suffered lacerations and abrasion injuries from neck burns and were subsequently treated by the Seattle Fire Department.

More than 100 police agencies are withdrawing from agreements to send personnel to bolster security at next month’s Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee, in part because they’re concerned about a recent directive ordering police in the city to stop using tear gas to control crowds.

A citizen oversight commission last week directed Milwaukee’s police chief to publicly account for why the department used tear gas during protests in late May and early June after the k*****g of G****e F***d in Minneapolis and to change Milwaukee’s police policies to ban the use of tear gas and pepper spray. The Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission said in its order that Police Chief Alfonso Morales could be fired if he fails to comply.

That order came amid intense scrutiny of police tactics at protests in Portland, Oregon, and elsewhere.

Since the Milwaukee order was issued, more than 100 law enforcement agencies in Wisconsin and across the country decided against coming to Milwaukee, Morales told WTMJ-TV on Tuesday. They were concerned with directives placed on the police department, including not allowing tear gas or pepper spray, he said.

Morales did not say which agencies would not be coming or how many officers were still expected. The original plan was to have 1,000 officers on hand from outside agencies to assist with security. Morales said utilizing the National Guard or enlisting federal assistance was under consideration.

The convention, scheduled for Aug. 17-Aug. 20 at the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee, has been scaled down to a mostly virtual event, with only about 300 people expected to attend in-person. Most of the speeches will be delivered online from other locations, though former Vice President Joe Biden has said he will be in Milwaukee to accept the nomination. Despite the event’s smaller scale, police are preparing for potentially large protests in and around the venue.

A 37-year old woman in Bloomington, Illinois who was the victim of a rape earlier this year has been charged for a revenge attack, in which she stalked her rapist and then assaulted him with a potato peeler, stripping the skin off his g*****ls.

The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was raped by a 56-year old local man earlier this year at her home. However, the man was never charged with the rape after the woman refused to testify against him.

“We begged her to change her mind but she said she didn’t want him to get locked up in prison where he would have a comfortable life,” said prosecutors. Unable to bring the man before court without the victim’s testimony, they reluctantly let her go.

As it turns out, the woman had a good reason for not wanting her rapist to be sent to jail. With him still out in the open, she had a much better chance of getting her revenge on him. Investigators believe she began stalking the man and following him around on a daily basis.

Early yesterday morning, it is alleged the woman broke into the man’s property and knocked him out before restraining him to his bed with cable ties. She is then said to have taken a potato peeler and used it to remove the skin from his penis & testicles.

The woman then reported her crime to authorities and called paramedics to treat the man. “I still ended up treating him better than he treated me,” she told officers. “He got exactly what he deserved, instead of spending a few months in jail he ended up getting hurt just like I did, and now he’ll never be able to rape anyone again.”

President Donald Trump signed four executive orders on Friday aimed at lowering the cost of prescription drugs, the first of which, he says, will lead to the cost of insulin dropping to “just pennies a day.”

“The four orders I’m signing today will be on the prescription drug market in terms of pricing and everything else to make these medications affordable and accessible for all Americans. The first order will require federal community health centers to pass the giant discounts they received from drug companies on insulin and EpiPens directly to their patients. You know insulin became so expensive people weren’t able to use it. They desperately needed it,” he said.

“We have it to a level that you’re not going to believe. EpiPens - likewise you have been hearing horrible stories about EpiPens over the last six or seven years, horrible, horrible, horrible increases for where they went to almost nothing to massive amounts of money. We’re changing that right now,” the president said.

“These providers should not be receiving discounts for themselves while charging their poorest patients massive full prices. Under this order, the price of insulin for affected patients will come down to just pennies a day, pennies a day from numbers that you weren't even able to think about. It's a massive cost savings,” Trump added.

The second executive order “will allow states, wholesalers, and pharmacies to do something other politicians have promised for decades and decades but never done .. allow the safe and legal importation of prescription drugs from Canada and other countries where the price for the identical drug is incredibly lower.”

“It is a difference like you would not believe - 70%, 80%, 90%. 30% - but massively lower than the identical drug made in the same plant, same factory, same exact drug, same everything, same box, same pill, and yet, it’s 50, 60, 70% lower,” the president said.

He said Americans pay on average “three times more for medicine than Canadians.

“Many people go to Canada, I see it all the time. They go to Canada to buy drugs and then they come back. Prescription drugs because they save so much money, the trip is well worth it. The Obama-Biden administration pledged to end this unfairness, allow drug importation, but they never got it done. They weren't able to get it done. They didn't get a lot of things done, but under my administration, we are standing up to the lobbyists and special interests and fighting back against a r****d system, r****d system,” Trump said.

The third executive order cuts out the middleman who are “bilking Medicare patients” with high drug prices “while they pocket gigantic discounts,” the president said.

“The fourth and final order I am signing today is the granddaddy of them all,” Trump said, and “will end global freeloading on the backs of American patients and American seniors.”

“For decades our citizens have paid the highest prices for drugs, prescription drugs, anywhere in the world, and it is not even close. Foreign nations have paid vastly less for the exact same drug again and the exact same box from the exact same plant, from the exact same company. They would pay 10%, 20%, 30%. What our people are paying a pill that would sell for one dollar in certain countries,” the president said.

“A pill that would cost $1 would be $7 or $8 in our country,” he said, adding that the U.S. is paying 80 percent more than nations like Germany, Canada, and others for some of the most expensive medicines identical in all respects.”

“This means that Americans are funding the enormous cost of drug research and development for the entire planet. We are bearing the entire cost of all of this. They are bearing none. They say that this is what we are going to pay. In some cases, it’s the socialist country. So we are paying to reduce drug prices in a socialist country. How does that work?” the president said.

Under the executive order, Medicare will be required to buy drugs at the same price that other countries pay,” Trump said.

A****a militant and convicted p*******e Blake David Hampe was arrested in the early hours of Saturday following his alleged stabbing of a black Trump supporter in Portland.

The Trump supporter and conservative, who goes by the name Black Rebel on social media, posted several updates to his condition from the ambulance and hospital. In the Periscope livestream, he alleged that Hampe had stalked him and his group of friends for several blocks in Portland before stabbing him.

It's difficult for me to understand why you would hope or expect for there to be any more stories like this. The fact that these young black kids are ruining their lives is sad enough. I hope this is the only story like this that there ever will be.

A jury found John Hopkins guilty of 34 of the 36 charges against him in March.

Hopkins molested 28 first grade girls at Clearcreek Elementary School. His actions were caught on surveillance video. He would nuzzle and kiss the girls. He put his hands on their thighs and other body parts and inside of their shirts.

Hopkins had told police he only gave side hugs and high fives. During his trial, prosecutors noted he didn't treat the first-grade boys the same way.

His defense attorneys said he was on the autism spectrum at the time of his trial.

Parents who'd seen the videos testified how they felt "appalled" and "disgusted" by Hopkins' behavior. “[Hopkins] put her on his lap, spread her legs, tickle her, nuzzling and all while gym class was going on,” a father said in his testimony.
