Across the country, different cities, including Seattle, held what was supposed to be a peaceful show of solidarity over the ongoing political unrest in Portland. Unfortunately, the scenario was far from peaceful as protesters threw explosives against law enforcement authorities, leading to more than two dozen police officers injured.
On Sunday, the Seattle Police Department confirmed that twenty-one police officers were injured after the violent physical attack on the department’s East Precinct. Most of the officers sustained knee injuries after a bomb exploded. Moreover, two others suffered lacerations and abrasion injuries from neck burns and were subsequently treated by the Seattle Fire Department.

Many of us here in Washington wonder if Seattle is really part of our state?

The bomb damaged the structure not the police...this in no way mitigates the incident however, your statements are misleading. The injured officers were injured as the result of contact with the demonstrators/r****rs and not the bomb itself.

Your part says "protesters" threw explosives. Your story says "a bomb exploded. Was it a person, or was it "persons" Was it explosives, or was it "a" bomb. If it was multiple persons, but one bomb, maybe you can explain how that even works.

Are you defending the act or just trying to discredit the report by playing k**l the messenger? A bit of both I'd say.

It must be peaceful because high ranking Democrat congressman looked directly into the cameras and said so.
