My wife and I stayed at a Residence Inn on Canal Walk in downtown Indianapolis while passing through on our way up to Chicago to visit my sister and her family back in May. We took advantage of the location to stroll along the walk and take some pictures.
The Canal Walk is part of the Indiana Central Canal, which was dug in the early 1800s, in an effort to facilitate interstate commerce. Today, the refurbished Canal Walk (stretching north through White River State Park to 11th Street) serves the downtown community as a waterside promenade for walkers, runners, bikers and sightseers (while the canal itself includes a steady stream of pedal boats, which may be rented west of the Indiana State Museum).
Please note that I took creative liberty in post processing with the sky's, water, and pavement in several of these photos using Luminar AI and Landscape Pro software.

Nice shot! Enjoyed.
Perhaps I shouldn’t use the word “shot” concerning Indy, since our capital is becoming as bad per capita as Chicago.
Thanks. It's a problem in most big cities these days. We stayed at a Residence Inn on Canal Walk right downtown. Nice area.

Beautiful but seems a bit “photoshopped” Was it?
Thanks!
I don't use Photoshop, or any Adobe products. I used to manage a graphic design department and Adobe was a terrible company to deal with. I did a fair amount of PP, using Luminar and. Topaz, and my main host software is Paintshop Pro.

Amazing beauty in your photo! Did you replace the sky or were you just that lucky?
Thanks. Not so lucky. I did replace the sky.

Very nice indeed.
Somewhat embarrassed to admit that I've live here for such a long time and have yet to visit 'nearby' Gibbs Gardens. You have opened my eyes. And I appreciate it.
We live 5 hours away and have had a season pass for the last three years. We love Gibbs Gardens! We make a long weekend out of our trip and also go to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.
