Very pleasing image. I'm a fan of sunrises/sunsets and they are always better when water is included. Nice reflections and the curving shore line adds visual interest.

Thank you.

Nice boat. If I owned that, I wouldn't worry what UHH looked like.

If I owned that boat, I wouldn't be wasting my time here.

Where do you find the shutter count?

After you select the file, on the right hand side make sure exif is highlighted. Then scroll down and you will find it under the Nikon section.

From the months of research I did before I bought my present lens, the consensus seems to be that....

The Tamron 150-600 directly compares to the Sigma "C"
The Nikon 200-500 directly compares to the Sigma "S"

So, between the Tamron and Nikon, I would have to say, without a doubt, that the 200-500 wins hands down, though the Tammy is no slouch.

Having said that, I finally decided on the Sigma "Sport" version over the Nikon and it's exceeding my expectations, which were pretty high. I might add, that it was a fairly tough decision between these two.

I wouldn't say that the Nikon directly compares to the Sigma Sport.
The Sport has more elements, is completely weather sealed, pro build quality, extra reach, and a better lens foot.

I purchased the Sigma Sport before the Nikon was introduced, and very pleased with the performance.

If I had to choose between the Nikon or Tamron, Nikon wins hands down.

Does Lightroom CC provide the shutter count for your camera? If so, what are the steps to get that info?

The free version will give you all kinds of info, including shutter count, from a raw file or unedited jpeg.

Has anyone delt with B and H for. Price match? There is something I am asking them to match a price on because I love doing business with them and the other place is about 50 miles from my house but if I have to I will drive there to save money. The got my sales add from them last week but I have not heard anything from them except it went to the price department I was wondering how long it takes. Thanks

I have had price matches from B&H, but they may only price match their major competitors. I would call customer service and ask them.

Well, if you are into LARGE photos on metal, there is only one I know of and it is Image Wizards, 105 Rogers Rd, Lexington, NC 27292 https://www.imagewizards.net/products/
Telephone: 336.283.8679
They are the only place for 8 foot wide photos on metal in America that I could find. Smaller photos are also available. They are grand to work with. I have an 8 ft. photo on aluminum in my front room. It depicts about 10 miles of Big Chico Creek Canyon, in Chico, CA I had it done in black and white. Tony

I didn't know the Nest gimbal heads had dampening. The only two gimbal heads I've found that have variable dampening on the pan and tilt axes are the Wimberley WH-200 and the British made LensMaster gimbal heads. Do the locking screws provide variable friction on the Nest gimbal heads or is it a fixed amount of dampening? I might order one from MTShooter's camera store.

There's fluid dampening for the tilt axis, so when the lens is balanced, at say, 400mm, it will remain there with the locking knob completely loose. If I zoom to 600mm, the lens will slowly tilt forward, and backward if I zoom in the other direction.
You can also use the knobs to apply more friction for panning and tilt, or just to lock it down.

I have the Nest Gimbal Head and the Sigma 150-600 Sport. I balance it at 400mm, so I can zoom in either direction very easily. The fluid dampening really helps.
