In 1951 to 1955 when i was in the Navy stationed at NAS Alameda in an ordnance division I have driven several thousand miles in one of these pickups, hauling ammo and standing watch at night. It was a fine pickup in its day.

Are those barrels rifled or are they smooth bore?

Hey that I can agree with I sure like the looks of those older ones. Today they all look similar to me.
Rick loomis
I hate to be the one disagree with the comment that they do not make them like that anymore. I was born 1931 and as a yong child I can remember my talking to my my mom aboput his work as a mechanic, today they are technichans. Inn 1937 38 39 40 they were pulling heads and pans to replace piston ring with over size ones at 30000 miles, the same with main bearings on crankshafts. The bodies were so heavy those engine had to work hard to maintain speeds. Today I have a 1999 Saturn that has 115000 miles on it and all I have done is maintain it, ie oil changes nothing to grease batteries tires. No todays auto thechnology is way ahead of yester years.

A great image but I can tell that Bob is only there as staff.

I have my car trained to NEVER passup a camera store, however I noticed that on the back 40 there is an outline of a rectangle. It is 6 ft long and about 3ft wide. I now agree with jerryc41.

Buy a contrail removing filter.

Just my 2 cents, but your 12 points are pretty much what judges look for in professional photographs. When all is said and done it is still subjective to each person viewing the image. I pretty much agree with George.

If they come here legally I am all for them, if they are here Illegally I want therm removed forcibly and this is not a racial statement as I have many Mexican friends who have gone through the system or they were born here. They feel the same as I do.

If this something that you do regularly go to your local optician and ask for deleted Frames without lenses. I used to do this all the time. You may not be able to get an exact match but you can come close Otherwise tip the lenses forward.

This is a fine image and I am very jealous as we in the US have very little if this type of architecture that I know of here.
Love it

Hey
Keep in mind that it is not the camera and lens that creates a fine image, but how you use what is between your ears.

I have one for my Nikon D300 and love it. Sent it in to get the lens creep fixed should have it back next week. I also have 4 Nikon pro lenses and I will use this one for all most everything as it in many cases outperforms my Nikon ones. High priced glass doe not always get it. Ben photoing since 1978 with everything from Nikons to 4 x 5. Rick Loomis
