thanks for the replyJE, we used to live in the housing estate behind the Wheatcheaf Pub, in runshaw ave, i know that the railway pub has gone, that was where we had our farewell do back in 73, the mild there was always a good pint, used to go in the Wheatcheaf , to walk home from there was much easier, especially on a wet winters night, yes we get rain out here in AUS, but its much warmer, very much warmer,we think its cold if it gets below say 12c, mind you we do get some very hot days in summer, like 43c, which are not the best,
will post some photos of around here soon, and yes it would be nice to see some more photos of A/Bridge, colin

Hi well i bought of these out here in Australia, last year. known here as a 600d, same lenses, and as far i am concerned, they are ok, i traveled around Aus in our caravan, and got some real good shots, NOW i must admit the lenses are not the best, but i would say to you they are much better than P and S, DO as i am doing, learn your camera, what your lenses will do. then ,and only then upgrade to what you need, and can afford, dont forget you can spend
an arm and a leg, on lenses, good luck, and travels,
