Cool cat! The leaf makes the cat look like it's licking the rock. I'd call the photo Cat Lick!
Got to get back to work. Later!

Funny, isn't it!

I took this one for texture but after I got it on screen, look what appeared..

Looks like a Cat attacking that stone to me...could have gone on faces from inanimate things! Guess you could blame the sun! :)

November...forgot I took these last week.

Love the shots of those leaves! Is that frost on rose leaves or variegated something else,Pat? At any rate they really stand out!

Great start Irene. Seeing the same old things each day can be very boring. I find that if I take a deep breath and close my eyes for a few seconds, to clear the clutter out of my brain, I sometimes come away with a new fresh idea or look on the mundane things in my life. Here are a couple that I see every day, and then one day decided to see what I could do with them.

Boy, that's an interesting question...Sunny!

Welcome to the next challenge. Thank you Judy for hosting 'Then' and 'Now'. It was a wonderful challenge with very fun and interesting posts by everyone.

It must be the fall 'blues' as I am having trouble picking up my camera and getting out to shoot. I did go out one day to a nearby State Park knowing most of the colorful leaves had fallen....and hoped to find something of interest. And to make it more challenging I put on the 75-300 mm lens....not a good walk about lens....but very challenging....at least it was for me.

I love bridges,Irene. Always intrigues me how they construct them and still keep an artistic feel! Nice start and looks like we'll get a bunch of innovative entries! Looking forward to seeing them!Thank you for hosting!

Judy it is punch but no knots. the thread is different from regular thread. the skein comes in four ply and you can pull it to make two skein and when you pull it out it will look like little curls and the curls is what makes the thread stay in place on your project. Hope I make sense.

Yes, I looked it up and read how it's done-I was curious...They even had diagrams to demo the art! Isn't the internet great! Certainly beats 400$ encyclopedias the get outdated so quick!

Thnaks, Judy. You are so correct. I was so amazed when I saw the front, I could not stop myself from capturing that, bet every time I moved it got better. A good lesson for me in working the subject.
