I can see why you love it. Wonderful collection of images.
One of my favorite places, but I really miss the elk. Great image, BTW.
This fawn[yearling] is pretty old to be nursing, yet it happens.
Thanks guys for the kind responses.
This is not the sharpest of images. It was taken 9 years ago with a Nikon D2h. Back in those days, it was easy to find bull elk in Yellowstone NP
Thanks guys for the generous comments. These are great bucks, but they were genetically created and raised in pens until adulthood and even then, are fed year round. In other words, it's pretty much like cattle raising.
This is fairly common in Texas as well as other states.
They bring unbelievable value to a ranch's deer herd, costing $$$$$ for a hunter[?] to kill one.
I don't necessarily agree with this, but deer hunting in Texas is big money to ranchers and in many cases has taken over the cattle business.
I cannot add anything to what Gene51 and minniev said. Ditto to their comments. Well stated.
Agree strongly with the advice from Db7423. When I first started LR, I created a catalog each time I uploaded images, which has caused much frustration, rage, and wasted time, not to mention "missing images".
I use LR 5, Photoshop CC, and onOne Suite 8.5.
Greetings from Round Rock, Texas[actually Austin]. Great to find one more photography forum, which looks very good to me. Glad to be aboard.
