Yell-cry-laugh & hope you have good insurance. Hope all the Dads had a great Father's Day!
Hotel. No. More of a spa. Well done & welcome back.
Too bad our paths never crossed. You may remember Sgt Smith and Palmer. Capt Plumsted...think you were under 440th in 72.
Also remember Ingrid, Herr Hess & Herr Korf. I was in contact with a Brit, Peter Hunter who worked there later.
Thinking seriously of a "What did you do in the War Daddy" trip to Germany with our 2 sons for Octoberfest in 2020. Might include a brief stop at the old 69th which is now VISE - Visual Information Services Europe. Tune in!
Made me think of this cell phone pic I took on an October Saturday in NYC.
I use Verizon. For European trips the last couple years I've used their plan which offers 100 texts & 100 minutes for $40. I have a Galaxy s8. It worked fine. Call Verizon & ask about their various programs that work with your phone. They were very helpful. The one thing they emphasized was setting your phone so that it doesn't download app upgrades which can increase charges.
I went along with his first grade class to Gorman Farm in suburban Cincinnati. The weather was lousy so I didn't take the Nikon. Here are a few that I took with a Galaxy S-8.
I only saw her one time. It was early in her career. She was an opening act for Harry Belafonte. She was fabulous and made a lasting impression. I have several of her albums including one I bought in Europe in my Army days that included some of the songs from that concert.
To quote one of Donald Sutherland's best lines, "Never heard of it!"😁
Thanks Jim and to all who responded. I just got a D850 and had the same question.
Some of you older Hogs may remember Tom Leher of "That was the Week That Was" circa 1965. New math was really new back then.
Leher had his own unique way of explaining it. His other songs on Youtube are still great today.

There are several options for D 850 purchases on Amazon. I am not interested in any which include lenses or "interenational" models but there seems to be only a nominal increase in price for a couple of those listed which have a few extra goodies vs the basic "Amazon Choice" at a current $3,096. Any thoughts or exprience from those who have purchased from the Amazon site.
I can remember Paul Whitman playing this on TV in the 50's. It never gets old and this rendition is fabulous.
Some interesting ideas but my wife wouldn't let me put the drill on the counter next to the cutlery block.
