Humming birds wings flap around 50 FPS. I would think 1/60th of a second would stop them. Use shutter priority and see what you get. Experiment. The make of camera does not matters. Shutter speed does.

I do not take many pictures of birds so I just used math to make my last post. I was 100% wrong. I went out and tried to take some pictures of Blue birds searching for a home. I took them at 600 th of a second and even that was not fast enough to stop the full motion of their wings. I will stay quiet unless I really can give a good answer.
Always learning..

If you over watered it probably not. If it has new green growth I would cut it back to above the first joint and repot it with a good potting soil. Day length determines the color brackets. They are a perennial plant. The do not like wet soil so you need to control your watering. Also in the winter keep it away from cold drafts.

Follow the above instructions and make sure you use a pot that has a hole in the bottom for good drainage.

Read the manual with the camera in hand. Take the camera out for a walk and take pictures close to you and distant just as you would on your trip. Go back, reread the manual where you think there are items you do not understand. Experiment with what setting you have. Take lots of pictures, they do not cost anything.

Dogs will respond to the first syllable they hear in a name. For the dog's sake whatever name you use should not sound like any other word the dog will hear. Pics is an example, no confusion or similarity. You could take pics everywhere.

Pix is OK but Pixel, to me, is a great name What was said in the statement above is absolutly true.

A neighbor has a dog they named Bear. When they go to the Pocono Mts. to a cabin they use, the name Bear is not a good choice at all. They shout for Bear to come and everyone around the area panics and start looking for their kids and pets.
Think about a secondary meaning of the name, not just a possible vulgar meaning but what it could mean in different locations.

I have seen other pictures of Dandelion but this one is looks lighter and more airy. I like that it was only partially lit.

The 58 had fake louvers on the hood, the 59 did not. I do not see louvers on the hood.

Left my Heavy DSLR home on my China trip, instead took two light mirrorless 4/3 cameras along. Never gonna happen again.

What is not going to happen again? Leave the DSLR home or take the 2 mirrorless..

Think how good it could have been if the far bird's head and beak were fully in view. It looks like 3 different breeds, how cool.
