You bet, All of the "gun owners" could have as many guns as they feel necessary to make up for the inadequacies they have. Bullets kill not guns, I have yet to see someone kill a bunch of kids with a gun with no Bullets. Tax the crap out of them. You dont need thousands of bullets to protect yourself.
Peyton, I'll ask you the same question I asked Anthony:
I assume you are not a gun owner for protection nor hunting. My question to you how would/will you protect your family or yourself if someone enters your home to do harm? At least as a LEGAL gun owner I have a chance to protect mine. Thanks
Too bad they are not as interested in controlling government spending as they have been gun control.

Hers a thought, the 2nd amendment says nothing about the right to own ammunition,so why not ban ammunition???one still has the right to bear arms,no amendment violation there. If that is not an option, why doesn't the government put a federal tax on each round of ammunition say $5 a round for civilian use ,sure go a long way to help the national debt

Artistically, how many f the 9,000 killed were with illegally owned firearms?
I'll ask the question here: how do you intend to protect your family if an intruder is in your house?
Crwiwy, yes I have considered that but I also know with some types of construction, apartments, townhouse even some houses here in the south being built so close a 38/9mm/40/45 cal. Even a shotgun can penetrate into your neighbors household. As we stated before once they start tampering with our right "they don't know when to stop"! So the question is do we want open up that box and let them get their grubby ill fingers on what we have?
It boils down to trust and not sure how many of them on both sides of the isle.
Well we all know they (the government) would know where to stop....NOT! Just like with taxes and other regulations they create.
Again to the anti-gun folk: how do you intend to protect your family if the need arises?
You use gun lover, gun nut, brainless gun owner, (alway attacking with such nice names) no I'm none of the above, I just want the ability to protect mine if I have too.
Santa brought me a D7000 although I got it a month ago. Santa wanted me to know something about it before Christmas. I think she's pretty smart......

I'll ask it again how do you expect to protect your family from criminals, gangs, thugs? At least with responsible gun ownership you have a chance to protect them.
How are we to protect ourselves in our homes? Call 911 and hope the authorities get there before intruders who will more than likely be armed uses his weapon on me and/or my family? How do you intend to protect your family if the need were to arise?
