Each day I need a little extra help so thank you for any information you can give me about putting selected photos into PE12. I have tried to copy and paste and although it worked a couple days ago I must have changed my procedure. I do not want to put the numerous photos I take each day into PE12 so I can reduce time spent searching for them.

Also, I am still having to work very hard to get as clear and detailed photo of a painting as what I got in Canon Powershot s95. (now on Nikon d3300 for a couple more days). Using tripod and Auto helped but actually I am still not satisfied with clarity that I used to get. Suggestions? Did I pick the wrong camera?

Thanks!

Open image in ViewNX2. Select the image view if it is in another mode.

Place curser on image (not thumbnail) and hold down mouse button to check for blur.

Open File on the drop down menu. Open "open with" and there should be file PE12. If not, open register and follow the instructions to add.

Then PP your images and save them where you want.

I have a Sigma 50-500mm lens and would like to extend the magnification. Will you give me some suggestions on what to think about as far as a teleconverter is concerned? I will be shooting with a Nikon D300.

Don't even think about it.

I leave my camera gear home in the dust and pull out my smart phone when I want to. And all the other 20 or so family members are busy snapping away with their smart phones. From my six year old adorable Niece to good Ol' Grandma.

Every one I know has a smart phone and about half do not know enough to set up the camera. They shoot away at the default settings and if the image is unsatisfactory it is the camera's fault.

Tripod solid,, camera solid,, mirror up, radio trigger, How else can i keep it solid this is not camera blur, its off focus, each time is different, Thanks for the tips. Im gonna try all my lenses tomorrow but i think they are all the same.. Thank you

I have never had much success calibrating a 300mm 2.8 Sigma lens before I ungraded to the Nikon version. Wasn't unhappy with the focus just wanted to see if it could be better.

Results varied so I left it at the default value. Suspect the auto focus has some variation.
