I never indicated I didn't think so. Having worked with vultures for much of my career I realize their importance in removing the dead critters from our ecosystem.

It's becoming apparent that a 4 unit full semester course is warranted just to figure out the basics of the Sony RX100 IV menu. My playback screen suddenly reverted from a full screen image to a small image with 4 color histograms and a lot of other stuff. I have searched the Help Guide and tried everything but cannot find how to change this playback display. Any suggestions? I'm almost wondering if my camera is faulty.
I travel regularly on Southwest. Never had an issue with my camera gear but I carry on the bodies and lenses and relegate my tripod and other stuff to the check-in. I use a medium-sized camera bag that will fit under the seat and a larger carry-on for the overhead. 2 check-ins are free but I would suggest you opt for the $15 priority check-in to ensure you are on early enough to have space in the overhead.
For my bird photography I use a 500mm Canon f4 on my 7DII, often with a 1.4X extender. I find very undetectable differences in detail with or without the extender except the DOF is much more critical, especially at wide-open settings. However, using a 2X extender reduces feather detail to the point I have eliminated it from use. A friend has gone to the Tamron 150-600 lens and is getting excellent results.
I have been using Canon EOS for a number of years (currently the 7DII) with a Canon 500mm lens and 1.4 extender with a gimbal head and tripod for bird photography. Closing in on 80 years of age I find packing that weight is getting too difficult so last year I purchased a Sony RX10 IV. The quality of the images is impressive and it is so much easier to carry in the field (I hand-hold it using a pistol grip) and to carry on planes in a small carry-on bag. I still use the Canon equipment in a blind or from the car. There is a very small detectable difference in the images, particularly if printing larger than 11 X 17. The crop factor on the 7D is 1.6 and on the Sony 2.7. I use the Sony regularly at the 600mm level but have also had great results at wide-angle. Overall the Sony is amazing.
