It's important to know our camera. Each one can/will have a different level of noise at the same settings. Also light conditions and type of light come into play. Also post processing ability has to be considered, some software is better than others in fixing noise, as well as how much you might crop the picture.

I have two Canon printers, the MX920 for general work, not photos an the Pro100.
I have used non-OEM cartridges in both. Two weeks ago, the PRO 100 would not recognize a couple cartridges, the non OEM ones, specifically cyan. It tried another non CANON one, and it would recognize it. I had a Canon one and it would not recognize that one either, Called Canon, and after trying several things, They replaced the printer,
Then yesterday I changed the yellow cartridge in my MX920, a non Canon one and the printer would not recognize it. I put a new Canon cartridge in and it would not recognize that one either so a second printer bites the dust. bTW, i have a second MX920, and the Canon cartridge worked.
Coincidence, maybe, but from here on out only Canon cartridges.

Interestingly, and perhaps a plug for the Pro 100.
Cost of printer at B&H $359. Rebate $200m free shipping, net cost $159. Comes with full cartridges. A new set of CANON cartridges $127. So the printer cost a net $32. I am not a heavy printer user, only a hobbyist. I use maybe 2 complete sets a year equivalent some cartridge colors less than others. Given the 1 year warranty I think I will just get a new one printer ever year, buy some individual colors in between, like black, in between. that way if something breaks on the new one it will be under warranty.
Another plug, though the printer the replaced was 14 months old, Canon honored the 12 month warranty.

Same here, 68, bought the 5DMK4 last year. Write ups about the mirrorless cameras do not convince me they take better pictures.

Yes completely normal, it takes a bit of time for the 'PREVIEW' to load. i noticed that there is a 'button on the top in Photoshop to change the resolution of the preview, but just left alone, it doesn't bother me to wait. if you have a couple hundred RAW pictures and you try to load them it could take a few minutes as each preview takes a little time. I have found splitting up a batch of pictures into 50 at a time gets the time down ti where i can start working on the pictures quickly. Otherwise get a cup of coffee, or a bathroom break, It will all load in in due time.

The other big help is to transfer you pictures from your memory card to an SSD first. your pictures will load quicker,

you can always buy from canon.com/store. They are $68. Amazon listed their Canon battery for $60 for the above mentioned battery.
Mixed results, I just threw out a Canon battery that came with myCanon 5d4, Only lasted about 5000 shots, But then I had another last 3 years with over 10,000 shots. I have also tried other batteries in the $25 range with various results though I have not kep prcise records of shots and duration of useful life.

A very weak wrist, and a loss of feeling due to a removed brain tumor. mt concern is dropping the camer which is most probable while changing the lens or putting the camera on a tripod. i am going to buy the safety strap that goes around the wrist.

That's my plan... Like in golf, always get the latest and greatest driver.
I have had the Canon 20D, 5DII, 5DIII, and now have the 5DIV. I sell the earlier 5D's to help with the cost of upgrading. If the replacement comes out say in a year and it has more pixels ( I crop a lot).

BTW, I also get upgrades to lenses. I had Canon 17-35mm f2.8. MY brother in law gave it to me. I took it to Alaska, got some really nice pictures, but was not particular pleases with the pictures. I don't have a very steady hand, and when I am with a tour group I don't take a tripod nor a monopod. I just bought the Tamron 15-30 f2.8, G2 with Vibration Compensation. it us a stunning lens, though I only took a few hundred shot so far.

Ive sold items advertised on this web site. I posted the items, had replies within hours, and settled on a price quickly. Turns out the person lived only 20 miles away, i also sold two lenses on amazon, you list your item with a prico you want. Other people have the same item and their prices are posted, so if you want a quick sale make you item cost the lowest on the list, I sold both lenses within a few hours.
