Thanks Graham.
Is purposelessness a word? Seems to fit our politicians

Cats don't like closed doors. Haha. Love your shot.

Sometimes. I'll admit that some of the exchanges are venomous and personal for no good reason. Keep in mind that some of us are working full time, have other obligations that take up a lot of time, and have to pick and choose which topics we get involved with because of the time factor.
I can very much relate to that. I'll read a post and wished I had time to keep up with it, but just can't justify the time. Your comment "some of the exchanges are venomous and personal for no good reason" typically have a good reason that's not clear to anybody but the poster, and the Hog the reply is directed to. A certain Hog up in Alaska gets lots of personal attacks that, unless you've been around awhile, just doesn't make sense.
I learned a long time ago not to get involved with other people battles. If you don't like the reply, just skip over it. If you learn that you don't like any replies from a certain Hog, just skip over their reply's altogether. With less than 2% of the views (on this post) prompting a response, I have to wonder how many have read all the replies, and how many clicked on, read the first (OP's) question and quickly clicked off. We have ran the crop sensor topic into the ground, but I still enjoy reading all the replies.

Good point.
5,865 views on this post. 120 replies. What's wrong with this picture?
Looks to me a lot of Hogs share my opinion.
Leave a reply, suffer the consequences.

Nah
Like every thing else, if you have no interest, don't bother to open the topic.
That's what's ruining the UHH forum. To many people open topics that they have no interest in, bitch about the replies, then add Hogs to their 'ignore' list just to piss people off. The forum just ain't the same. It makes people not want to reply, for fear of retaliation. I, for one, just don't get it.

Thanks for the post Erv. I wished I was there.

Thank you Marion! Yes doing a lot better. And my brain seems to be getting better too. Yes she is very good at laying around. If I sit down, she is in my lap, like right now with me trying to use the computer.:)
She's just trying to help.

LOL! I think it would be fun for a bit. But couldn't sit around that lone.:) Feeling pretty good. But still get tired if I push to hard.
Good to hear you're feeling good.
Sitting/laying around is what cats do. You would be born with the ability. Cats have the relaxing thing down pat. We can all learn how to relax from a cat. I had to take the stay to the Vet just today. Pick her up tomorrow, + 2 bucks.

Thank you Marion! It sounds like I found another fellow Kansas photographer? That would be sooo wonderful!
I'm in S. central KS. Close to Wichita. Love your sunset pictures.

Saying hello from Southeast, Kansas! If you want to know anything...please ask. I'm up to learning more about the recent upgrade from my Lumix to my first dslr. I loved my Lumix but here is my first sunset from my new dslr Canon. I am hoping to be with it for a long time but my Lumix still remains my go to. I'm pleased to be here and meet you all...with that Happy Shooting! ...Dotty
Welcome Dotty. I know all about Kansas sunsets.
Enjoy your new Canon.

I want to come back as Janny's cat. :) This is Elsa!
Hi Erv.
Would you really want to lay around, do nothing, and have everything catered to you?
Well come to think of it......I could learn to live with it..Hope you're doing well,

I live in one of the most remote places in lower 48 .moved here to retire. I need a lens like a Tam 28 to 400 .I have a cannon 6d . I was wondering if any one would provide a lens in exchange for copy of pictures or a guided photo shoot . They could say with us at our house not fantastic but warm and dry . It about 5 miles max to 3 different wilderness areas I would like any input on how this could play out
I'd almost buy a new lens, to spend some time in Gods country.
