Since my Picasa email no longer works, how can I send pictures? I've tried placing them into folders and tried to email them with my Comcast account ((Mozilla Thunderbird) but each time it says that my images exceed the global size limit. Is there an easy way to email my pictures? Any help you can give would be most appreciated.

I use a free drobox account and send a link. Or I use my google photos account sometimes Outlook.

That's useful info. So, in the worst case of these scenarios, even though the R5 body is .33 lbs lighter than a 5D4, the body and 50mm 1.2 lens combo would end up being .5 lbs heavier than the same combo on a 5D4.

But weight is not really a reason to go mirrorless. If weight reduction is the goal, then you want to downsize your sensor. You can use a shorter and lighter lens on a APS-C camera for the same reach as a longer heavier lens on FF. Many who want the weight reduction go Micro Four Thirds.

Probably the 18-135. But what camera body are you using?

A workaround would be to adjust the colors on your computer. It's not a real solution to the difference in appearance, but it could result in a nice print.

Yeah! The poor man's calibration. Adjust the monitor until what you see looks like what you printed. Then adjust the image until it looks like what you want. Finally print the image again. But getting a real calibration tool is better.

You saying people dupe us on the UHH. Say it ain't so!

Absolutely not! I bought a nice piece of land in Members Buy/Sell/Trade! They even asked me to come take a look as soon as my check clears and they vacate the property! I am planning the trip for next month!

My uncle, a Marine World War II wounded veteran of the South Pacific, mainly Peleliu, died a few months ago at the age of 97 from Covid.

His ashes will be interred in Arlington in the simplest of their three ceremonies. If anyone has been to a ceremony, can you tell me the best way to photograph the whole service without being disrespectful to it? Is there any part that absolutely should be shot?

Thanks

I think there is an approved provider who will do it for you. It is too important to do yourself. Be there. Be engaged. Let someone else do the photography.

I disagree. Daylight flash does not have to be powerful at all if you are just trying to fill in shadows. Many times I have used flash in the daylight at -2 or -3 EV. That's just enough to lighten the subject so that it looks good.
There's a big difference in the quality of the image with daylight flash. I almost always use it.

The trick to using daylight flash is to use it so that it doesn't look like you used flash. If you do that you will have a great photo. It's like makeup on a woman. If you notice it, there's too much.

I have around 12 cameras split evenly between DSLRs and mirrorless. I think the significant difference is the lens mounts or the use of an adaptor. Other than that and ISO I cannot tell any difference. I think this a a bated question.

WAIT!!!
Other than the mount and ISO you can't tell the difference!!!
Like ISO is not a huge difference???

That is like saying aside from getting a useable photo and a throw away, there is no difference.

I take photos primarily for myself and my wife, and sharing with friends.

A day that will live in infamy ;-)

FWIW I’m experimenting with LED panel fill, instead of a flash. For users who are mystified by flash (maybe 3/4 of UHH ?) a constant and plainly visible fill such as an LED source might be the solution.

I have been lusting after an led panel (and a mirrorless camera). But she who must be obeyed says no new purchases until after retirement and relocation. Oddly that does not seem to apply to anything she wants to buy. Hmmmm????
