Thanks for sharing that. I've always regretted not being able to experience the 50's. I was born in 59 so I missed the whole decade. But, I appreciate how so much of that era spilled over and has been preserved through the 60's,70's, and even today. The cars. The music. The movies. The food. I have to say though, I miss the tv dinners in the aluminum trays that you had to heat up in the oven. What are some of the things you UHH's miss from that era who experienced it. I'd like to know.
My '55 Mercury Monterey 4dr sedan, red, black top, white interior, fender skirts, curb feelers. Some country leaders with some guts. And a lot more FREEDOM!

My inlaws had a written list of who gets what. After they passed the attorney wished we had never had told her of the list because now she has to include it in the estate and we will be TAXED on those items! This is Indiana.

Welcome Nancy! Once you get comfortable with your gear, consider a local camera club. People there will be glad to help and it is a one on one situation. And you get advice on what to do but more importantly 'WHY' you need to do it. Virgil

I wonder if any fellow joggers have any experience with silk brand tripods. Any input is appreciated! Thank you
I've been using a Slik U212 since the 70's and it is strong and versatile. I have a platform that mounts on it to hold my slide projector and it works quite well.

I notice there were only 23 seconds between shots. You stated you removed and replaced the battery. Was it the same battery or a NEW one? The battery may be low and affecting the operation of the curtain on the second shot!
Good luck. Virgil

How about the 'HORN RING' in the steering wheel? My dads family car, a 32 Chevy, had a 'Free Wheeling' knob on the dash. Two Tone paint jobs of the 50's. The Windshield washer pump you could install on the floor (floorboard).

Thanks for such an original cliche, if you'll excuse my oxymoron.

Not sure how it happened but 'oxy' appeared in your last statement!

Nice shot! The view makes you FEEL the massiveness of these workhorses.

I think the trail of red lights on the gates is pretty neat also!

Looking at my Natl. Park map, it appears the 4.7 was somewhere north of Norris Jct, between Dome Mtn. and Beaver Lake. Must be a little hot spot. We were there a few years back when the had the road going north from Norris Jct. closed because the road was TOO HOT!! Like just WHAT am I doing HERE??

Try executing the "Run" option from your start menu.
Enter A:\Setup in the command line. This may start you installation. Some discs don't automatically start installations.
Good Luck.
