An absolutely sellable shot Lensman. Great job. I especially like that you chose monotone for finishing.
Great photo and interesting background info. Thank you.
Those berries look awesome. Perfect angle of view and the bowl sets them off well. Now, do you have a cure for mouth watering?
You can be exposed to scabies, shingles, influenza, drug resistant pneumonia, drug resistant Tb, and a hundred other really bad diagnoses in ANY Emergency Department Waiting Room in the country....and all carried by natural born citizens. With a global society, and a poorer society, its inevitable.
Beautiful and Delicious looking!
Hope that guy with the cell phone was wearing dark colored pants!!!
Always take the time to check your posts and havent been disappointed yet. My grandad wore a fedora like that everyday except when we were at the beach. Your treatment of it evoked warm emotion here. I could almost smell the Bay Rum walking into the corner barber shop every Saturday with him as he hung "that hat" on the hook on the wall and sat in the chair.
I really like the glove and ball as well.
I've seen several books of Hurrel's work and am definitely a fan. I knew I was crossing genres but my comments were definitely a compliment. Its a special artist who can convey the sense of glamour and color using B&W as thier medium. Well done!
I love the high contrast, high gloss look of these. Reminds me alot of old Vargas lithographs. Very cool!
Welcome CathyM. I use my 70-300 for soccer, baseball, and track. It gives me all that I need about 95% of the time and it's an affordable piece of glass.
I've never seen this view. I love the rippled reflection.
