Where exactly is this lighthouse?? There are many people from CA who look at UHH, but 50 miles from SF could be anywhere.
Thanks
About 30 miles north of Santa Cruz on Highway 1
Interesting enough I was there just three weeks ago and enjoyed your perspective of the Lighthouse. I took mine up closer, and yours were farther away. Love the shots and good to hear they will be restoring it.
I am good friends with someone who shoots both Boston and New York. It is JPEG all the way.
There have been a lot of good suggestions in this and I would add only two.
Frames per second on your camera, the more the better If your camera only shoots 3.5 frames per second you will miss a lot of action that a camera that shoots 8 frames per second will.
While I have a 70-200 4L IS I am amazed at the quality of the Canon 70-300 IS II nano is. Unless you are a pro, this is a good quality lens with good color capture, as well as good range and price point.

Kinda figured it out by experimenting. You can set the size of the long side while exporting a single picture. If after exporting the single picture, you try and come back and export more pictures. the program uses the size you set up for the single export as the size for batch export.
On a Mac, doesn't show that for batch, only single.
Unless I am doing something wrong, when I go to export say 14 pics I have edited, I have not seen anything that show pixel size either.
