Cape Bretton Nova Scotia last week. Pictures taken at the end of a spit in Cape Bretton. My brother in law has the last house before the lighthouse. I never got the sunset I wanted, but I got every other incarnation possible, from direct sun to pouring rain.

3 shots from Willow Lake Friday evening. I went on vacation a little over 3 weeks ago and my computer died the third day in Nova Scotia. Going from the dry air of Arizona to the humidity of the north east was no match for my laptop.
No internet for almost a month and the world still is intact. I spent most of yesterday backing up all SD cards and then took a break at Willow Lake. It's good to be home.

I am about to take a 3 week trip and I would rather stay in Prescott. The weather compared to where your brother is coming from will be milder plus not having humidity. Prescott is a mile high city and temps run about 20 degrees cooler than Phoenix. It is cooler on average than Pasadena California. I've lived in Illinois, Massachusetts, California, Virginia, and Germany, Prescott by far is my favorite place.

Focus stacked from 16 hand held shots. I took about 30 shots, I was worried none would be in focus, the sun had ducked behind the mountains and figured this might be the only opportunity to get this pose. Spray and pray for a second before he left his vantage point. Taken on the Constellation trail, Prescott Az.

Earnest It's known by many names, Horny Toad Lizard, Horned Toad, Horned lizard. The Generic name Phrynosoma meaning toad bodied. But it is a reptile and an endangered species I knew none of this the day before yesterday but was schooled by a naturalist on another site and then looked it up.
