Lately we have been receiving an unseasonable amount of rain (Hooray!). Yesterday the dogs and I thought it was over and headed out for a nearby green area they enjoy. As we arrived, I saw that the clouds were coming up from the south toward us. This set shows when we reached the green area and our views to the west as the clouds closed in. The last set showed that we made it back to our street just ahead of the rain.

Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

You and your dogs go on interesting walks, Mike. I enjoyed this wonderful set very much.

As a special needs child Nugget usually has avery short attention span; however, she taken a very serious interest in the Strawberry Shortcake  characters. This is the first time she has spent any real extended time on any one topic. She know and can pronounce the names of all of the characters, she "reads" and enjoys "Berry Shortcake" books, and has several dolls. This interest has been very building for her. Her mother found this Strawberry Shortcake Halloween costume for her school's Haloween Party. She was ecstatic...

Looking out my window early this morning I saw this beautiful dawn sky. The light is fleeting and changes quickly. A few minutes after I took this shot the sky went to gray. That's why I always have a camera and long zoom ready.

A fleeting moment of beauty. Thank you for posting this, Mark.

There is something about this one I really like. It is like the 3 of them are coming together to meet in a special spot.

This has been cropped quite a bit. There was a lot of dust in the air and it was hot. I'm thinking all that combined made the photo not very sharp and in focus. Maybe a bit of me too!

But, I still like it! Just don't pixel peep!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this picture, Beth. I can see why you like it.

Yesterday, me and the better half took a drive to Santa Fe, Taos, Questa, Red River, Eagle Next, etc. This was, if memory serves, somewhere south of Taos. Edited with some of the new masking tools in Lightroom.

A happy and safe Halloween to all the hoggers out there. I took this photo a couple of years ago when I first discovered this poor old distressed Saguaro on it's last legs (literally).

I re-worked the photo to include an oversized moon, a textured background and even added the Raven to the Saguaro's shoulder for that Halloween touch. I returned to the scene a couple of weeks later, only to find that the winds had toppled the Saguaro and now, only a few skeletal bones remain.

Ten points will be awarded to the first person who can name the song these lines were lifted from. (An additional five points will be awarded to whomever not only correctly cites the song's author, but manages to somehow mention the covers Marcus Mumford and/or Big Thief's Adriene Lenker have done.

Other'n that, you might wanna be careful if you go playin' on the tracks....
