Too bad that you "clipped them all off", the seeds inside are "open pollinated" and can be grown into bushes...sometimes very nice ones. While really marketable bushes
are rare, even the poorest examples are your own. Have a nice day!

Yes, I am pleased that they don't eat my trees. On the other hand, I have had pesky woodpeckers make holes in the side of my house so that they can live between the walls in the winter. My home is seasonal-use .... I'm only there spring through fall.
