Thank you. I don't use this lens enough. Wanted the whole plant in the picture and up close for detail. Always trying different options and processes.

What a fantastic post, Jim! I love using a wide angle lens for closeups. It's about the only way for me to shoot in the close confines of a lightbox, because I usually close all sides and let the front of the lens stick through the front zipper closing. Beautiful work!

Thanks Donna this is the first time I used the wide angle for a close up. I will use it again for sure. Lightbox, I only used one once on some jewelry and found it challenging. I now use speed lights with white plastic that I can shoot through, reflector cards and snoots when necessary. If you ever want to talk about different set up send me a private message.

Thank you rlaugh, I would like more people to give set up descriptions especially when there is difficult lighting or special camera features.
I am constantly watching YouTube to get new and improved ideas. Never to late to learn.
