Maybe it's because AI is told we have five fingers when the reality is we have four fingers and a thumb.

I wonder if anyone has told AI the proper number of fingers in their image instructions, especially after getting too many the first time.

I agree with your interpretation (supported by David Martin's post). The issue is not RAW but how the JPEG is created. RAW processed to JPEG in the camera is OK, RAW processed to JEPG in an external editor is not OK.

Makes sense to me. Creating the JPEG with an editing program offers too much of an opportunity for manipulating the image compared to "straight-out-of-the-camera".

You can do a lot of manipulation of JPEGs in the camera - more than would be allowed for photojournalism.

My father ended up getting two bypass surgeries, and my brother (two years younger) got stents. Then two years ago it was my turn, at age 73 I started getting arm and shoulder pain when out walking. I called my doctor and he told me to get right to an emergency room. Initial tests, including a stress test, didn't show anything, but then they gave me an angiogram, and I ended up with a triple bypass, which turned quadruple when the surgeon got in there. The recovery was difficult, but now I am back to where I was before. I have diabetes and high blood pressure, both well under control with basic medication, diet and exercise.

One of my favorite musicians allows people to photograph his shows. You had to contact his webmaster to request a photo pass, which I probably got about half the time I asked. The rules were only to shoot the first three songs and no flash. He had a fan photo section on his web site, and I would always send a few when I got to shoot a show. I was even asked once to use a couple photos for a CD release, which they paid for. I have also done a lot of concert photography at outdoor music festivals, which rarely prohibit cameras.

I hate scammers. I sold my time share many years ago but I continue to get calls every week to help me sell my timeshare! I also get many calls and emails that are all scams. “My subscription is about to end or a computer is infected or I just won something that I did not subscribe to. Of course they’re all scams to get you to give them personal information for money. So many times if I have the time, when they call on the phone I play with them by trying to delay the call as long as possible telling them the person they want to speak to will be back in 30 seconds, can you hold on? and then in 30 seconds, I will answer in a different voice a child’s voice and then after the person on the phone has given this pitch for a full minute, I will say in a very childlike voice can you hold on? I have to get my dad, but it might take a little time because he’s in the toilet, and then I put them on hold and silence the phone mic until they hang up.

You get many scam calls because you keep answering them. Messing with them won't stop them from calling.

I really don't care for saying thanks. But I do acknowledge a suggestion. Saying thanks doesn't mean much to me. But I do say it although I don't think it means much. I would say yah that's a perfect solution or your suggestion sucks I would never want to do that.

When I see a suggestion that I know is wrong, I will say something for the benefit of those who may try to try it.

I got one of those calls from “Weendows” last night telling me that there was a problem with my computer. I told the guy that I didn’t have “Weendows”. I told him that I developed my own OS called Digitally Operated Open Reiteration System. I call it DOORS. I explained that it uses a special processor that I built called Wide Universal Design. I told him that I simply called it a WUD chip. I further explained that I could open several DOORS at once due to a graphic device called High Intensity Neutron Graphic Engine and that I have three of them installed. I told him that I refer to them as HINGES. They guy hung up on me!

I used to try and mess with those scammers. All that did is get me more scam calls. When they get a phone number that someone will answer, they pass that info on to their scammer buddies. I just don't answer calls any more that I don't recognize, and gradually I get fewer calls. They can always leave a message.

Absolutely. Very few questions, especially concerning computers, have enough info for an anccurate answer. If you want a correct answer instead of speculation, answer questions so your issue can be accurately understood. Good diagnosticians ask questions and listen so they completely understand the problem instead of talking and speculating.

And that leads to another problem - the OP does answer questions to clarify their post, but people don't read the whole thread so they keep speculating on the basis of the OP's original question.

How long when you post a question on the UHH before you check back for answer? I found so many UHH posted questions and never camera back with a response even if it's a F*** word. I much rather see that than a question and then I tried to answer the OP just never acknowledge. I think that is a greater insult than using bad words.
I never tell anyone to go ask Mr. Google and I am not Mr. Google.

It's not just checking back for an answer. It's asking a question without sufficient information to get a relevant answer, and then not answering people's questions to clarify. Meanwhile there is a lot of speculation about what the OP meant.

The OP said in the fifth post of the first page that it is a driver's license photo.

One of our greatest photojournalists, W. Eugene Smith, would have been ineligible. He often burned in backgrounds to emphasize the main subject, which would have been considered obscuring detail.

Your link goes to a Main Photography page from 2011. Which post are you wanting to drag back up? You could have just made a new reply to one of them to drag it back up. Or even better you could just make a new post on the subject.

I think the best money would be selling it to someone who wants to use it rather than a dealer who has to resell it.

I would try the Photoshop healing tool close up. It would be tedious work, but it wouldn't take hours.

Before EXIF information, it had to be written down, for each shot.... NOT.
I never did, I just shot.

That's what I always wondered back in the film days. Were other photographers recording their settings for every shot? If I submitted photos someplace where they wanted settings, I just made my best guess.
