The camera shops here in Columbus are more photo department stores than camera shops. I tend to do my research online & buy from B&H, Adorama, & Cameta. If I'm in a hurry, I have an Amazon.com prime account & can get most items in 2 days.

I heard that Cord Camera in Columbus finally closed their last store. I used them a lot when I lived in Columbus.

Need some help, a friend of mine wants to sell me his used Canon T3i, now I have never used a Canon, as most of my friend know I am a Nikon person, but he wants to dump if for $200.00, now all my friends that use Canons seem to have Canons D6 and D7 and double Ds but nothing about this Canon, those that use it would be a big help in filling me in on it's ability and soundness.
Thanks guys any and all suggestions is welcomed

You didn't mention if it had a lens with it or not.
I'm transitioning from an Olympus OM1 film camera to a T3i DSLR, and I love it. It's a great camera for the price, and $200 is a great price. It's not full frame, but it is much lighter than a full frame. My advice, if you can afford it is to buy it and try it out. If you decide you don't like it, I'm sure someone on here will be glad to take it off your hands!

I have a couple of old flash units that I used with my cannon 35 MM SLR. Can they be used with my new Nikon digital SLR? I have heard they can harm the camera-but nothing firm on that--So what is the deal here? These are nice units and would be ashamed if I could not use them--Thank you

I have a Canon T3i and 3 old Sunpak flashes that I use with Yongnuo 603 II Flash triggers. They seem to work great, so far.
Here's proof............

It's called a reversing ring.
You need to know the filter thread size on your lens and know what camera mount (Canon EOS, Nikon, etc.) you're using. Fotodiox and Neewer make then, among others. $6 - $15

I flew on one of those back in my early 20's. Flew from Sandusky, Ohio to South Bass Island for a Wine Festival. They put me in the jump seat by the back door. I swear the plane was bucking a cross wind, and felt like it was flying sideways the whole way to the island. I took the ferry home!!

I filmed this last year with the SX50HS. Editing is a little crude as this was my first attempt at video. I added the soundtrack to muffle the wind noise.
I might add that this camera was hand held. In future I will use a tripod and panning head so that the video won't be so jumpy.

No kidding! None of our native lizards are quite this flamboyant.

Many of us would appreciate seeing resolution & detail in your photo. When next you post an image, please consider check the box labeled (store original).

OK, Sorry, I'll try better next time.

This one was taken with a Canon T3i and a Canon 55-250 mm -STM Zoom (I Love This Lens) at 250mm, F-9.1, ISO-400 & Auto White Balance
