I hiked off into the Grand Canyon to take some sunrise photos. I was about a mile below the rim and had my shot setup and was just waiting for the sun to come up and the light to do it's thing. I saw these people who had stepped out to the end of the ridge that I was on and they were surrounded by beautiful morning light. Not the shot I was after but I had to take it anyway. This is a heavily cropped image but it turned out, i think, at lease good enough to share

Everything, although beautiful, was jammed together.
That explains the lack of any whole views of the rides.
