I ALSO CARRY A 90 -270 THAT GOES F22M - F4.5 AND A SHORTER WIDE ANGLE. WITH THAT YOU CAN DO WHATEVER BY BYPASSING THE LIGHT SENSOR. ONE INITIAL INVESTMENT THAT LAST FOREVER. (OH, AND A COUPLE OF FILTERS) . I ANTICIPATE WHAT I AM AFTER AND MAY NOT NEED TO CARRY THE HEAVIER 90 -270. MANUAL IS FUN. YOU CAN CREATE.
I SPENT A LOT OF YEARS LEARNING TO RELATE LIGHT, ISO, f STOP AND SPEED. TECHNOLOGY IS GREAT. NOW I JUST COMPOSE AND THE GADGET DOES EVERYTHING FOR ME. HOW NICE. BUT, I CAN STILL HANDLE MY "OLD" NIKON PHOTOMATIC WITH WHATEVER LENS. NEW "PHOTOGRAPHERS" WISH.
I AM AN ARTIST, TOO. I HAVE A VISION AND A CONCEPT ALREADY IN MY MIND, WHETHER I LIKE IT OR NOT, I HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THE SCIENCE IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO MATERIALIZE MY DREAM.
