I very much like #3. Did you create individual layers and adjust tones (by color) separately?
Hi, LoneRangeFinder, I post edited the images in Nik Silver Efex Pro 2, and thanks for taking the time to look
After my recent trip to Venice, Italy I posted some colour shots of Venice, 2 of them were shot at night time, because of less crowds and the night light was good photo atmosphere.
Because the days were extremely crowded and the sun very bright, I decided to do most of my daytlight photos in Black & White. Here are three of them, hope you like these as good as the reception I received on the postings

Beautiful! Love the way you captured twilight, your use of fish eye, and your composition. Great work.
What was your ISO/camera/lens?
Hi Julieb, Many thanks for your comments, My camera is a Nikon D3100 with 18-200mm F3.5-5.6 lens ISO 3200, no fish eye used.
I took many pictures of Venice and the evenings/nights were great for photo atmosphere, much more than the daylight hours which were very bright sunlight and hordes of people. However, I still took some reasonable daytime shots as well. Once again, thanks for your interest.

Tom,
Nice photos... I also see that you're a guitar player. What more can you want from life - photography and playing the guitar...lol.

Thankyou very much for all your very kind comments, I am overwhelmed at the positive remarks made and I am extremely flattered. As to the positive critiques I will re-examine the couple of photos more closely regarding minor adjustments on colour.etc.
Once again thankyou all
After a recent trip to Venice, Italy, I took some photos in an Italian Autumn sunset , this is my version of a Venetian sail into the sunset. Hope you all like it.

I am new to this forum so thought I would post this message and photo as I have just returned from a short trip to Venice in Italy, this place to a photographer is like a candy shop to a kid, hope I done it some justice.
Please give me your comments
Hi everybody, decided to join this forum now that I am retired and taken photography back up as my hobby. Had to stop my photography due to family/work committments in the 1970s and now I have the time to start up again.
My favourite subjects are travel/lanscape photography.
