Venice in Black & White

After my recent trip to Venice, Italy I posted some colour shots of Venice, 2 of them were shot at night time, because of less crowds and the night light was good photo atmosphere.
Because the days were extremely crowded and the sun very bright, I decided to do most of my daytlight photos in Black & White. Here are three of them, hope you like these as good as the reception I received on the postings

Can't say that I personally like 2 or 3 but 1 is exceedingly nice but edit out the electric light at the top and that upright thing

I love Venice and seeing her beauty in color, however these in b&w definatley create a mood. Realy nice!

I very much like #3. Did you create individual layers and adjust tones (by color) separately?

process is smashing and I like the alternative view of monochrome, an experiment well worth the effort.
