When I first looked at the picture I thought you had flipped it. Cars on the wrong side of the road, then I looked at your location and I remembered you Brits do drive on the wrong side. :)

After being rained out on Friday, the Saturday evening Balloon Glow and the Sunday morning mass ascension both went off without a hitch. Here are a few pics that kind of capture the scope, color, and pageantry that is the International Balloon Fiesta. Over 500 balloonists from many different countries participated.

well cool and I really like the picture above mr and mrs bee

The snow on the roof held just long enough to get the shot. The dark sky was broken by the emerging sun coming over the background mountain. A typical mid winter scene. Any critique most welcome.

I think it a cool shot and Im glad I live down here and you live up there

The folks at this place are awesome folks. Very nice people. They saved the nicest shaped pumpkin they had for me. Janny and her were talking. Janny saw that she had one of the crafts that Janny did a long time ago. You can see it in the picture of them standing together. It is the pumpkin hanging around her neck. What are the odds!:):)

It was pretty cool to go out to the tracks and watch this today. There was a couple of guys there that were chasing the train, soon as it passed they were off like a hot streak. They had all the gear, real Train Chasers!

Personally, while I found it interesting to watch, this action is way to tame for me at this time. No comparison to storm chasing and watching a ripping tornado pass just a few hundred yards away. BUT...it was running on a schedule, find me a tornado that can do that!

brilliant shots ..........
