Squirrels are nothing if not persistent. I'm surprised this guy gave up.
Nice shot.

Probably went for help.

The noise doesn't bother me, you got the shot, and it's a good one.

While strolling in the Everglades I happened upon these youngsters learning their trade as predators. Can't call them "cute", but that "look" in their eye will make them noticeable.

And mama may be laying right there, closer then you think.....
Good shot.

I bet this old house at one
time had lots of stories to tell

This is one of the better shots I've seen of old buildings. Very good.

This was the scene when I arrived. Sadly, there was nothing that could be done for the victim. I'm told that an investigation is ongoing and that, given his suspiciously maniacal grin, the green frog is a person of interest.

Great shot, I'm a believer of guilt at first sight.

Hi, I was out on my daily photo hunt and I saw a nice Kingfisher near a pond,he flew to the back of me and I didnt get to see him again, but up a dead tree I saw this nice American Bald Eagle,I call that Luck.

I'm not much of a believer in luck, if you wasn't out taking pictures then you wouldn't have even seen it. Good capture.

I don't necessarily agree with that, I've found that the better I know my subject, and equipment, the luckier I get. You did capture some good shots.

In a mirrorless camera like a Sony you are shooting through a filter and must suffer some altering of the image. It has been said on this forum that no professional uses such a camera.

Where did you "hear" that crap, it's obvious you heard it someplace because you sure haven't done any homework.

Beautiful shot, winter or otherwise, Geoff. Makes for a lovely story, but if all seven sisters were dumb enough to jump off the cliffs because they couldn't marry shepherds, probably just as well they didn't breed.

But I suppose it's Romeo and Juliet X seven. Presumably the saddened and surviving shepherd guys found lasting love with their sheep.

Or all got together and paid a visit to the old man...... :-D

I took this photo of a King Cobra in Miami. The handler was an old friend and agreed to open the large 6' cage so I could get on the ground in front of him to get a close-up shot. This shot was taken less than 7' in front of this 14' giant, with nothing in between him and me.

It was taken in the Cobra house, where my friend milks over 300 cobras to sell the venom to drug companies. It was dark, so I did use an off camera speedlight, and defused the light. Comments welcomed.

Do I detect a distinctive lack of self preservation! :?

Trying to learn all I can about birds. Caught this fella outside my kitchen window. He's obviously digging into this tree- is he a woodpecker? Thanks!

Well the first thing you should probably do is buy a book or two on birds, I'm in my books all the time.
