This photo is better than yesterdays :-)
I dont say much because so many havealready said what I usually would say. However for today. I would like to add my 2 cents, please :-)
I would soften the photo slightly for protraiture.Nothing wrong with an extremly sharp photo, but a soft look is more pleasing in mu opinion in portraiture.

Keep up the good work.

May God Bless :-)

I have had some luck, though not very sharpfocus shooting at an angle with flash. The photos I have sampled here has strong light coming from the top, the glass made this shot hard to take.
Dont be afraid to experiment , you can always view the photo and retake if necessary. :-)

I hope this helps

My Carry lense for my Sony Alpha is a Temron 18-200
and I love it for most of my shots, the 18mm setting is wide enough for most of my shots. I enjoy the farmers market for shootingcolors and interesting people. I usually talk to teh people first to get them comfortable and ask permission to take photos of them. I am posting some photos of the colors I have photographed.

I hoipe you enjoy them
BTW, please feelfree to critique :-)

Circul;ar poarizers are more dependable in my opinion. I have several square polarizers from back in the old days. I have found that with the auto exposures, the square polarizers really wreaks havock with the aoto exposure. The othe thing is with the square polarizer you will be fighting with it to get the right exposure or polarization for rhe image you are attempting to capture. Clouds and skies especially will not yield a desired effect that you may think you are capyuring. just my 2Cents :-)

I have a couple of Hummingbird photos that I have taken . I use 500 or 600 and 5.6 apature @ 1.500sec without flash and has given me some decent resulkts.
I have tried flash, but they scare the birds away for awhile. I hope this helps :-)

I have a few couple moon photos I would like to share :-)
The first as you would expect is just a white blob.
The second has more definition.
I uses a Nikon s220 poket camera to get the shots.
I put it on a tri-pod and set the exposer to f3.2 on the second shot and gave it about 1.275 second exposer. I also placed the camera lense on the back of a cheap telescop that you can find in any cvs store <G> This is the result.

The first was done in auto mode and was washed out.
I hope his helps.

I like the Fairy Rose.
I would suggest try filling the frame with the Rose of your choice. A nice close up with a telephoto lense with a wide aperture will give you a lot of detail. Also try bracketing 1 stop up and 1 stop down. It may surprise you:-)
I hope that my suggestion helps :-)

I have 3 photos I would like to share with you.
They were taken in Yosemite National Park. I was experimenting with panos.
I have never done any before and thought it a challenge.
Please comment and critique my photos, I enjoy comments iof a positive nature.
I use Microsft Digital imaging for my photo work, however it does not have a pano setting, so I did this manualy and hoped for the best.
