no kidding! i felt so bad for the bird :-( the wing was literally completely detached at the lowest part of the wing. how anyone could hurt such a majestic and beautiful bird.

IN SCOTTSDALE AZ! ANOTHER BIRD I NEVER THOUGHT ID SEE HERE IN THE DESERT! BEING FROM NY! LOL....ANYWAY, HOPE YALL ENJOY!


THE LAST ONE OF THE HERON LAYIN IN THE WATER, I WAS LITERALLY ON THE GROUND THAT CLOSE TO HER. SHE HAD A BROKEN WING SO THE NEXT DAY, I HAD THE BEAUTIFUL BABY RESCUED AND EVEN GOT TO ASSIST IN THE RESCUE. ALL OF THE HERON ARE WILD. THEY ARE NOT IN A REFUGE. THE INJURED ONE HAD HER WING AMPUTATED AND IS NOW IN A BIRD REFUGE FOR WILD BIRDS WITH DISABILITIES. SOME ASSHOLE, WHACKED HER WITH A GOLF CLUB BECAUSE HE OR SHE SUCKED AT GOLF! KARMA WILL GET THEM! ANYWAY, THERE ARE MORE PICS ON 11:12 PHOTOGRAPHY TIMOTHY COSTELLO ON FACEBOOK!
