Thanks for sending me the link regarding landscape photography hints, which I have read and have found very useful. I will try and post one of my photos soon. There is such a lot to learn.
I thank every one that have taken the time to respond. I hope they all see this post.
I use an Olympus E620 camera. I usually use lens 40-150mm. I also have a 14-42mm which my boyfriend says is a wide angle lens. Should I be using this lens instead when I am doing landscapes?
I will try and sort a photo out.
Thanks for the information.
Bob Hartung wrote "What's the point". I wouldn't be as hard as that, but I do know what he means. Just as I was thinking that it seems that we are no longer using our brains there is another "Plug In". Is it real photography? I am sure that I have opened a "can of worms" now.
You made me laugh. I sure need dynamite.
How do I get trees to pop, i.e. so that they are not flat and are sharp.
I am using Lightroom 5, Windows 7.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Horray! It worked. It was the Explorer part that was the missing link. I just right click and did "send to" where I wanted it and hey presto it worked. That is the way I usually copy to memory sticks.
Thanks a lot. VERY MUCH APPRECIATED FROM DULL & DRIZZLY

You made me laugh. You are quite right a child would know how to copy a file. Yes, I want to copy a photo that is in Lighgtroom. Ok, as you say close Lightroom. Can you now tell me where my photos are stored on my hard drive?
I can and have made a folder ready to receive my photo, but where is it other than Lightroom.
I daresay that my Lightroom is not set up correctly. I suppose my photos should also be saved on my hard drive before going into Lightroom .
I know it must be very frustrating for you, but I am an 86 year old lady coming to terms with modern technology. I used windows at work and is quite confident with that, but Lightroom is a bit of a struggle and I am not mastering your instructions. Any instructions on how to copy the page I am getting to you so that you can see where I am at. I am speaking UK English. Maybe terminology is different where you live. I am grateful for your help. You are trying very hard.
Thanks for your reply, but I am still have the same problem.
I forgot to say that I am working in windows 7.
I don't understand your sentence "make sure they are mounted and select it in the output dialog".
Any further explanations.
How do I copy my photos from Lightroom on to my memory stick.
I don't understand how to create a subfolder.
Export is not highlighted.
