I have DX lenses: 10.5mm f2.8 G ED fisheye and 17-55mm f2.8 G ED and tokina 100mmFX. What’s the point: my d7000 have a build in autofocus motor the 3400 body don’t have this. For some lenses is this good for some is this bad.... my 17-55 2.8 is a beauty on any body.
The 10.5mm isn’t nice- auto focus runs lightly errors-can’t switch Manuel and auto focus on lens but my camera body does, the 3000 series don’t have.
I sold a DX zoom lens what was a beauty on the 3000 series but not on the 7000 series.
Tokina 100 mm is slow in focusing but focus right all the time.
A 28-80 mm 3.3-3.5G fully plastic but works great
Nikon build all kind from awesome good, Weird to bad

Wow good one, they are fast too
Walk around your subject with phone camera to see the difference.....the light is hitting directly the front what show’s to much light on your subject..... change the distance between your subject and window light, or diffuse the light or outside...... available light isn’t an easy task
Take a phone camera and walk around your subject and see how your subject change. The black table can give trouble too.... belongs how the light falls on it, if the table have a shine too....or outside”available light”
I don’t like how I cropped......;)
This s is my opinion, for me itâs to buys, too much distractions but my attention are going to the mountains with the sun light..... I would crop some from the sky button and a bit left and maybe right side- I did a quick try .....definitely itâs an amazing image
glad you like it. I got my stuff used piece by piece..... I got some luck because a knowing customer in a pawnshop sold all his equipment what was in good shape....
feather the with the reflector.....
Those aren’t adjustable lights, what makes it difficult to take away or add light. Home Depot have clamp lamps with silver reflector is lot cheaper in the beginning. For background- Vflats made out of styrofoam panel from home improvement store.google it. I waisted some money because of my none knowledge.....
I would take a extra light and pretend would be the sun. I hope we see more of your shoots
My first camera was a manuel Minolta and later I got the digital canon rebel 300D. The first worsted was for me the autofocus. I did not focus right or better I had to learn how to used it and digital is more sensitive if the shutter speed is to slow.
The screen on the camera is not alway grade ether. The older camera like the Nikon 90D I would always zoom in the pics on the screen just to make sure it is sharp, when I use the Nikon D3400 I don't have this problem anymore because I see exactly on camera screen.
What I did was I would use none moveable objects and it's better if the object is a bit bigger, easier to focus. Nikon have the "green Dot" when you look through the viewfinder what indicates the sharpness.
Some Lenses are not the best in sharpness and or some camera bodys are not the best in focusing ether. I have a older kid plastic Lens what is sharp as heck and lot easy to focus vs. older 2.8f glass lens and it looks weird on a 810 with a silver plastic lens....lol.....again use the green dot.....Happy shooting and sorry for my english
