I've made a rough copy of the three birds into one image, the one from the link I posted about a Rock Wren on the left, the original in the middle, and a Brown Thrasher on the right?

If you have an android phone with a Google search bar you can image search by touching the right hand 'camera' icon then select from your gallery or direct from your phone camera. It isn't perfect but gives you a good idea...

Yes, I understand that but I'm just wondering not what he would do different but if PS was around 40 years back would he use it (with the knowledge he has now) and how?
Don't get me wrong, I prefer these 70/80's shots to many modern ones, they appear more 'real' to me.
