Perhaps there were some minor photographer's tinkering with the trivial aspects of the image, but not with the important features such as the faces. So, what! I suggest the British press focus more on the many more important matters of the world than trying to play "gotcha" with things that don't matter. And spare me the "righteous indignation" that the media displays with such insignificant things when they regularly distort facts to convey their own political messages and biases.

It sounds like you used to work for FEDEX did you?

No, I never worked for FEDEX. The only thing I did with FEDEX is have shipments to my home, and I have never had a problem with their shipping like a lot of people on here are always complaining about their service. How often have you complained?

I had never heard the term "dogfood" or "dogfooding" used this way.

MEANING:
verb tr., intr.: To test a company’s product by having its employees use it in their regular workday.

ETYMOLOGY:
From dog + food. The origins of the term are disputed. Earliest documented use: 1996.

NOTES:
Why is this called dogfooding instead of, say, icecreaming? Dog food is meant for another species and seen as unappetizing for humans. In the same manner, a product is meant for customers. Its use by employees may be unappetizing especially if the product is still not fully baked, and has bugs. The term was popularized at Microsoft, though its exact origins are debated. According to The New York Times, an executive of Kal Kan actually ate its dog food at a shareholder meeting.

I think you are making this whole thing up. I am 81 years old now and have never heard dogfooding in my whole life except when another story from Jerry shows up.

Looser is what happens to a loser when he eats too much fresh fruit.

Exactly! When I was hauling cargo that would not fit in the aircraft one night at the airport in Philly, I had to lay over in my 18 wheeler. Didn't feel like fighting the hassle to try and find some food where I was, and all I had with me to eat was a bag of fresh nectarines. On the way back to Indianapolis I had to stop at every rest stop I past. Had to call my dispatcher about half way back and let them know I was going to be a little late. They got a laugh out of that when they found out why. If you are ever traveling, and you have to eat a lot of fresh fruit you will find out what loose fells like. If I had not stopped at all those rest areas, me and my pants would have been the loser.

I do not see any extra hands. Four people and 8 hands. Kate's arms are certainly long enough to reach around her children on the left and right.

I think people are making a big thing over next to nothing.

How right you are. Nothing else to do, so let's make a big deal out of Kate modifying her photo. I'd like to know where did they think Kate's hands were if those are not hers.

OK photograph, no problem by me. I substitute heads all the time in group pictures. Being lazy I usually use the same person heads per body, and from the same photo session to match the lighting.
Why would Kate want to publicize not feeling well? It might raise her insurance rates.
Boris

AMEN. 95% of the people on this site do the same things to most of the images that they post. How many change the sky to make it look better? Lord knows what else everyone modifies with editing software to make them look better, but for Lord's sake don't let Kate do it. What a bunch of nosy people.

There is nothing wrong with it. More of them should look like that. Guys wouldn't have to walk around with their face in a cell phone.

"Some adjustments" covers a lot of territory. Bruce Jenner had "some adjustments" made. If major newspapers refuse to publish this picture, the adjustments were probably more deceptive than aesthetic.

For cryin out load! Leave the Woman alone and honor her privacy. She is a beautiful Woman. If anything would happen to her the whole world would get information about it. Every one sounds like those idiots on the "View".

I feel your pains.

I have no solutions for your Epson.
I tried so many "jet cleanings" and new ink wells, but after 6 months of failures.....

I took further action and........Purchased a Canon. It was cheaper, as were the new ink wells.
It never skips or takes a day off.

After so many (professionals) told me that Epson was the best choice for photos, I gave up.

Maybe on the next purchase, I'll reconsider the Epsons.

As the boss said on Mission Impossible

Epson used to be the best printer that you could buy. Not anymore, people are complaining about Epson printers all the time on here. I use a Canon MG6120 and I've had it over 10 years, without any problems. Use Canon ink.

I have the ET-8500, and I'm happy with it - as much as I can be happy with any printer. I bought it mainly to print on disks, but it does a fine job with text and images. If you are considering the 8550, look for online reviews.

I have never had any problems with Canon printers in at least 20 years, and they sat unused for 2 or 3 years after I lost my Wife to cancer. When I started using them again I didn't even have to run any maintenance and they worked just fine and still are. Use Canon ink.

Can't help with the 8550 or the 7700. I have an ET-2750 and it needs a nozzle cleaning before each session. My nephew was using my PC and printed something and I mentioned he was very lucky, that printer never works w/o a nozzle cleaning. He said his Grandmother has the same printer and he knew up front to do a nozzle cleaning before printing. I've always used HP or Canon printers and never had issues like this, and I suspect they are common with Epson Eco-tank printers. There are other issues like getting the printer to agree with whatever app I'm printing from. My advice to myself is stick with Canon or HP printers next time. I do like the cheap ink however, and it does a fine job (with text) once you fool around enough to get it working.

Just out of curiosity, what brand of ink are you using?
