I agree about the background. I was driving through campus and saw this fella in a hammock. I parked and took his picture from across the street. He didn't even know I was there. I could crop out the background but I would lose my tree. Any suggestions?

I had the Tamron 150-600 briefly and returned it (because of problems with the autofocus) instead of getting a replacement or getting it repaired. I waited and saved to get the g2 version of the lens. The newer lens is much sharper at 450-600 then the older lens.
