yes, it was tough to give up. Amazing quality in all types of light. The first version of that lens is supposed to be very good as well, and a lot cheaper

Lens is as advertised! Great color even in low lights, super fast focus. I didn't want to return it! Shot these at the Sacramento Republic FC game Saturday night and the River Cats-Albuquerque game at Raley Field on Sunday.

Giving Ugly Hedgehog a shot at this before it goes on eBay. This is the latest version of the very popular 50mm 1.8 lens, which sells for $125 new. Original box, instructions included. Absolutely nothing wrong with this lens, but I ended up getting the 50mm 1.4 recently.

Before you pull the trigger on anything else, check out the two Amazon Basics bags, especially the bigger one with the orange interior. It takes care of my needs, and I can pack a lot of stuff when I want.

Great condition used Lowepro S&F Technical Vest. Check it out at the link below. Note: These things tend to run a little small for the listed size and I would say this vest is more in line to a medium/large.

$55 shipped. PayPal preferred.

happened to shoot this last night at Sacramento's Raley Field. I was using a Canon 2x teleconverter with a 70-200 2.8 II lens, with a 7D Mark II body. I haven't had the teleconverter for long and haven't used it much since I was having some autofocusing issues (my fault) with the camera, which I think I've worked out.

I was wondering if anyone uses a teleconverter with zoom lens.. I have heard both ways one says good results,, another not so good,,, just was wondering if anyone on here uses them with zoomz taking wildlife with them...

thanks,,, hope everyone is doing well and getting great shots this summer!

make sure you have the latest firmware for your camera. I was having major auto focusing problems with my Canon 7d Mark II and that same lens, and it was solved with the firmware update.

Hi...
I am a hobby Photographer & recently purchased a Canon 70/200 2.8 IS mark , I have noticed when I am shooting in AV mode the lens is having trouble sometimes Auto focusing the last time this happened was for an outdoor potrait shoot natural light was great & subject was about 20ft from me, I switched to manual & same issue but when I switched to Auto it focused fine, this has happened a lot but always works on Auto, My focal points are lighting up when pressing shutter lightly but won't stay focused?
Do I need to send it to Canon?.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Ross.

put me in the camp of having owned both and am very happy with the Mark II. Faster fps, better focus and much better sensor. It's an excellent camera for the money.

thanks. Wonder if they work on the other MacPhun plug-ins, like Lightroom, Aperture, etc.

My wife and I came across this young couple last week sitting on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Half Moon Bay.

the photo make the house look nicer than it is. It's actually pretty run down . . . Pacifica is right next door where they have houses on bluffs being condemned because of erosion. Hope that doesn't happen here
