Selling my D800 to thin the herd. Body is like new condition, under 4000 shutter actuations! Includes original packaging and accessories, extra battery, and aftermarket battery grip. Lightly used by amateur photographer who takes very good care of equipment.
I also have a Tamron 150-600 (1st gen) for Nikon that I may want to sell also if interested.
Asking $800 plus shipping for the body, lens TBD.

You should have no problem selling this camera. I have a D750 but if I were younger and not so close to 80 yrs old and did not have all these health issues, I would buy this. I have the Tamron 150-600 G2 series but I hardly use it.

Excellent! It looks like old Panatomic-X developed in Microdol. I was unaware of the 907X.

Bill, old timers like myself certainly remember Panatomic-X and Microdol. The Pan-X was ASA 25. I would buy it in 100-foot rolls and make my own 35 mm canisters. I did the same with Tri-X at ASA 400.

Nice pic. Curious, have you also looked at it in black & white?

Michael

My guess is that it would look good in B&W

When I saw this title on YouTube, I was expecting to laugh my way through the video. Not so. This looks like a handy tool. If you have to hammer nails in a tight space where you can't swing a hammer, this will do the trick. Of course, there are other times when it would come in handy. For some reason, it doesn't seem to be available yet.

Wow - amazing !!! But at nearly 80 years old my days of doing this work are long over.

This is a photo of one of the largest natural arch, I believe, in Arches National Park, Utah. This is Triple Arch but it is not possible to het a photo of all three arches.

I was unable to find dimensions of the arch but you can see a person standing next to a bolder at the bottom of the photo.

Excellent. The person standing at ground level gives us a good reference point as to then size of these arches.

I had to take neighbor to hospital and wait for him, so hopefully get out tomorrow morning to shoot a little.

Had some time to kill before a movie yesterday and was lucky enough to find this female American Kestrel on a wire surveying an (as yet) undeveloped parcel of land in Georgetown. She graced me with her presence for about 45 minutes!

I worked this one up in both black and white and color.

I like the contrast in the B&W sky in the first image and so I am choosing that one

I have the Tokina 100mm f2.8 (for Nikon used on my D810) and can highly recommend it. In my opinion, a better value than the Nikon 100mm f2.8 which is also a great lens but costs much more.

Yes, I totally agree. The Tokina 100mm is 1 of 2 lenses that I wish I had. The other is a prime Nikkor 20mm 1.8 G ED which they may still have at KEH.
I just checked KEH website and they have a number of Tamron 90mm f/2.8 ranging in price from $581.12 (like new minus) to bargin at $408.93.

Looking for a good macro lens for Nikon up to $250
It can be any brand as long it is around 100mm and must have VR or equivalent.

Check out Tokina 100mm on KEH. They may have what you want.

Poul.

Yes, Chewy saved the day but we have been using Chewy for some time now - perhaps 2+ years.

Here are a series of photos of Yosemite. Would love any comments or suggestions for improvement.

Reminds me of Ansel Adams. These are excellent images.
