I am also a Realtor and use the Sigma 8-16mm lens. It's mounted on a Sony A77. My other lens is a Tamron 18-270mm that is mounted on a Sony A65. I use this for my outside photos. I was tired of cleaning the sensors and changing lenses.
Love the Sigma, also have a Sony 11-18mm lens. The only downside to the Sigma is there is now UV or protection filter available. Since I bought the Sigma, I don't use the Sony as much. It's a great back up lens. Your comments are absolutely right on.
I just received my Color Munki Smile. It works on my Windows 7 laptop, but not on the Windows 10 HP. Tried their website, and it is not much help.
Is anyone using it on Windows 10? What is the solution or work around? Thanks
You might want to check to see if you need a commercial pilot's license if you are charging. At one point you needed one, and an observer. The link is
www.faa.gov/uas/legislative_programs/section_333/ One other very important thing is insurance for you and the broker. I checked with my State Farm agent, and at this point they have no policies.
I had my A77 & A65 sent to Sony for the same problem. The A65 was under factory warranty, and the A77 was handled by Mack Camera. They sent it to Sony. The Mack is a 5 year warranty.
Precision used to repair Sony, don't know if they do now. Had my K-M 5D repaired by them 4 times in 5 years. The last time they sent me a refurbished replacement.
I recently had my Sony A77 repaired under the Mack Warranty. It took about 2 weeks, as they sent the camera to Sony. They were extremely helpful and courteous.
I have been using them for 50 years. They replaced a Koni-Minolta 5D after 2 days before the warranty expired with a refurbished one. Can't complain.
I have taken out the Mack warranties for years on all of my cameras. I have spoken with customer service.
I have always found them to be a reputable company. I just dropped off my Sony A77 for a card reader problem.
The last time I had a Konica Minolta 5D. This camera had numerous problems. Four repairs in five years. The last time it died two days before the warranty expired. I called them, and sent it in. They replaced it with a refurbished one. Still working three years later.
Check out Craig's List for Canon Pro 100's. You will see tem for $200 or less with a 50 sheet pack of 13x19 paper. It is heavy and does have a large footprint. Great printer.
If you use a Drone for commercial photography, the FAA rules say you must be a licensed pilot and have an observer.
I was going to use it for my Real Estate photos, but the cost to obtain the license would be prohibitive for the return on the investment.
Unlike my Pro-9000, the Pro-100 will turn itself off.
I also have the Epson 837. I liked it so much, when, Office Max had one on sale for $99, I bought it for the ink. For larger prints, I use my Epson P1400, as well as a Canon Pro 100. Both work very well.
They are still making the A99 full frame. It takes A mount lenses.
It's so far up in the Bronx, it's actually in Sleepy Hollow.
I have this printer and I am pleased with it. You may find one on Craigs List. I bought 2 more for about $130 with the 13x19" paper. They do take up a lot of desk space. Quality is grate.
I did the same thing. I have a Sigma 8-16mm mounted on a Sony A77, and a Tamron 18-270mm mounted on the A65.
No problems with dust, since the lenses rarely are removed.
I have found Canon Pro 100's from $120-$150 on Craig's List with the 50 sheet pack of paper.
I bought 2 of them. One to use , and the other for the ink and paper.
