Having had a bike stolen personally, I enjoyed that immensely.

Your D60 is an APS-C sized sensor is smaller than the film frame, so at the same aperture, the full frame film camera will have a shallower depth of field. It also depends on the focal length of lens, as to what f-stop will bring everything in the field of view into focus.

My name is Hawk and I'm going to Warbirds on the Beach in VA Beach tomorrow. I have a Nikon 3100 with a Nikkor AF-S 55-200mm 1.4-5.6G ED DX lens. Shooting old aircraft in auto mode many times will "freeze" the prop(s). What settings can I use to "blur" the prop(s)? Should I use aperature priority? Or, what? Thx.

Try a ND filter. Better yet, get a set of three or four.

I use a Varizoom Chickenfoot. I have the carbon fiber version, and love it.

I am a long time Sony user. I shoot with the a77ii and the a99ii now. I used to buy off-brand batteries since they were much less expensive. Over time, they do not hold up. I had Sony batteries last much longer, none have failed, even those over 7+ years. My off-brands have begun to fail after a couple of years. You get about 100 or so shots and they are dead. I have tossed them and now only use the Sony brand.

I don't own this particular camera, but I've shot thousands of hours with numerous Sony video cameras. I've tried a wide range of aftermarket batteries over the years, and they never hold up as long as Sony batteries. Both in terms of run time, and useful life. There's a reason they are so much cheaper.

I always had at least 1 or 2 bodies and several lenses go into the luggage besides the one I took into the cabin, and so far I never had any issues. I got a hard shell Pelican case inside a regular travel case and so far no one ever messed with it!

I have a large Pelican that holds all my video gear. I carry it on when I can (or could?) but I've checked it many times too. It has wheels and a handle that pulls out.

Hmm.... odd that I can't find anything else online about this. There was a price increase for the EU, but it was more like 15%. If they really intend to double the monthly cost, I am out. I'll just buy Lightroom standalone.

Some very cool old films here. I love old promo and advertising stuff. Especially about cars. Kind of a bummer that the site prevents full screen and disables clickthrough.

I noticed that an SD card version is available as well.

Indeed there is. This would be my personal preference, as I'm usually working with multiple cards. The operation is the same as connecting to the camera.

Will Photoshop Elements 15 (downloaded version) operate properly on a Google Chromebook 15 Laptop computer.??

Chromebooks can only run apps from the Chrome store, or Chrome extensions. This is how they manage the promised the reliability and security. I'd be surprised if something on the order of PS Elements showed up. Most Chrome apps are fairly lightweight, and on the modest side.

MtnMan,
Not sure what you mean. ?? Is the adaptor for the camera? Or for the iPad Pro?

USB cable in to, and it will prompt you to transfer photos. At least it works this way for many cameras out there.
Much faster that wifi too.

My ipads do not have usb cable.

You have to add the adapter, and then they will. They make it for both the lightening, and the 30 pin. The iPad will automatically recognize a connected camera.

Or you can just plug the USB cable into the camera, copy everything to the computer, and make your folders there.

We went with Tivo Roamio and a antenna. The service is $15 a month, and it's the best DVR. You can also buy units with lifetime service. Cool search and scheduling options. In addition, we have Netflix streaming. We did also do Hulu for a while, but dropped it. Not enough content that wasn't also on Netflix or broadcast TV.

I'd do HDR in every case, unless motion is an issue as Peter said. I also try to shoot in the golden hour if at all possible. The light is not so blue, and the differences are less dramatic.
