I found this article in a daily email from Whalebone Magazine. I really hope these get developed and published online for all to see. This guy has a great nickname too!

Photographer’s 3,200 Undeveloped Film Rolls Hold History of Rock ‘n’ Roll

Here is some more discussion of this unprocessed film. After so much time it appears likely that there will be some image quality falloff.

Eastern Bluebirds have been checking out one of our bluebird boxes, this morning.

A final decision appears not to have been made, since chickadees have been in and out of it, too.

What is the answer and the path to the answer, please.

15

The equal sign is misleading since I don't think a straight formula is strictly correct since the two sides of the equation aren't actually equal.

However, a previous poster's equation (Vienna74) for the answer side of the puzzle is correct if the word "becomes" is inserted instead of "equals" and the xy on the left side does not mean x times y.

Damn, now I've even confused myself!

I posted the shot thinking others might do the same.

This is Bud, the best frisbee dog I ever had. Won many contests and would willingly catch for anybody.

One time I was setting up the field for an event and he went missing. Found him at a nearby schoolyard taking a disc from kid to kid, asking them to throw for him!

Thank you. I was also lucky. The Herons built a "rookery" right next to the roadway (just a few feet away) in the hedges and brush. Easy access!

Fine photos, Mark!

I've got a similar site situation here in KY, but they won't be showing up for another couple of months.

Those look to be of the age where an adult will still be coming in to feed them occasionally. If you can watch long enough for that it is an amazing sight to experience!

I'm not sure how we handle this. Will it just fade away? It's such a misguided concept. I hope that simple intelligence wins out and this just disappears.

Here is John Oliver's take on this latest GOP gin up of a phony issue:

I especially liked his poem to Ted Cruz:

“I do not like that Ted Cruz man. I do not like him shouting Klan. I do not like him in a room. I do not like him in Cancun. I do not like him playing ball. I do not like his face at all. I wish he’d lose his cushy job. That man Ted Cruz is a fucking knob,” cracked Oliver."

Just for the hell of it, why don't you bolt it to a cutting board and get some store dough and thin it out and put it through the rollers. If it is a pasta maker, then you will know what kind it makes....Simple? and then you can show us the result.

Maybe it is a kid's toy pasta maker.

Wonderful image, Marshall!

Thanks, glad you all liked the shot.

Kestrels are beautiful birds, and this one gave me a great look and I tried to take the most of the opportunity.

Well done! She’s puffed up because it was a cool day?

It was cool, but not cold. She was doing a lot of preening and feather maintenance so maybe that was why she was puffed up.

It was very windy, now that I think about it, so she was probably feeling cold from just sitting there.

I'll bet this will end up in Sony advertising at some point. Nice hockey goalie block and catch by a photographer at the bottom of the hill!

Had some time to kill before a movie yesterday and was lucky enough to find this female American Kestrel on a wire surveying an (as yet) undeveloped parcel of land in Georgetown. She graced me with her presence for about 45 minutes!

It's an additional EVF (electronic viewfinder) that can be angled at 45 and 90 degrees. It is backwards compatible with the M10 series after a firmware update on those cameras.

It's called the Visoflex.

Yes, that's it. And for only another $740...lol!

The object looks blurry along its length. Could it be something going the other way? Nearby insect or bird?

This is a Topaz gigapixeled screenshot of a screenshot of a portion of the original download that had been run through Topaz sharpen (focus) at maximum. Screenshot taken at the update view before "apply" was done. The result after "apply" looks nothing like this.

I believe it is a out of focus bird flying to the right in the frame. Colors remind me of a Blue Jay with the alternating blocks of blue and white on its wing.

A stretch, I admit, but my best guess.
