That's some awesome processing , your pulling everything out of the data, awesome Job Marc.
That's a sweet image , awesome work.
Those you pulled some awesome faint outer nebulosity , I've looked into creating color in my stars using Ps and have a video that I'm going to attempt. I use a star tools plugin for most of my astrophotography for Ps , I'm still trying to get my mojo going and I'm still trying to get my Hasta La Vista Green plugin installed but, like everything I do I struggling with it. I also take data and every year add to the existing and attempt to align all of it what doesn't align stays in offset folder for later use .
That's really cool buddy , awesome widefield image . Yes Marc , wind is a real pain but, I use my astro laptop cart on wheels to block and divert the wind . Love the star color
Thank yall , I'm getting better at acquiring the data . My nemesis is the processing of these targets I shoot on with my modest Po'man imaging kit , light pollution is increasingly a real pita { bummer}. I'm trying my best to keep improving my skills, my aide bought me an 8 pos.efw and some more narrowband filters. to help with the added light pollution and it's helping Woohoo !
Sorry Alberio , for commenting on Ballard's comment.
Actually , I was shooting on the HH and GON and the Rosette. I have added over 3 1/2 hours of narrowband data per target and countless hours of trying to finish processing these targets. I like the look of this Rosette except for the star color , I'm watching videos on getting star color and hopefully I'll have something soon.
Ring of fire Rosette nebula
Sweet Thors Helmet, KUDOS on the freezing. It's been ridiculous here in Carolina.
You've split them for sure , I didn't think it was possible , it must have been the perfect conditions. Awesome Ballard
bwa , that's a terrific composite of m42's.
That's real pretty, well processed with lots of detail in the surrounding nebulosity.
Bittmore , thank you it does look different . It's all a learning experience, took 2 months of blowing the core out over and over. It's a work in progress .
I used Astronomy tools for Photoshop : I call it {razors edge} sharpening to get rid of the blown out core from stretching it to the extreme , Dso enhancement ,lighten and flattening. I Make stars smaller tool and it was so cool , click the enhancement. As it appeared on the screen , I kept clicking and saw the detail more and more I clicked. I like the detail that was pulled out Ballard . I shoot dso's in Highest Dynamic Range @200 gain . It gives me a better result than shooting at factory settings or lower but, it's never ending to find the best setting for different targets.
I here ya , YALL , never disappointed . Colder than a hogs titt.
