Thanks for the welcome Robbie, it's appreciated!
Took this in an alleyway in Venice, and she gives me the impression of being quite well dressed. Also done in b/w, but prefer this one better.

Number 2 for me! has a more 3d effect and has the impression of being exposed just right! ....but there again, everyone's eyes vary a little don't they?
Thanks Jusoljoe, it's appreciated!
Thanks Rich, I will take your advice! Good of you to help!
tayco, many thanks for your comments, and I couldn't agree more with your philosophy! especially the last bit!
Hi Rich, I am flattered by your comments, but I do have problems with exposure sometimes. My camera is a Canon Power Shot S3 that I haven't had very long. It's a little hit-and-miss when taking very contrasting light scenes. Do I lower the exposure, do I alter the I.S.O. or neither of these and use the manual A.V. and guess the F.stop? As you can tell, I have only recently took photography seriously. Thanks for your welcome! David.
Thanks everyone..... encouragement indeed!
Taken at the beginning of last years Autumn...up until now I've not had the opportunity this year.
