I'm thinking of getting the Tamrom 18-270mm lens for my Nikon. I'll be using it mostly as a walk around lens for travelling.
Does anyone have this that can give me some feedback.

I have a Nikon 5100. We will be in Singapore & Hong Kong in February. I am looking to buy one of the new Tamaron 18-270 lenses. Is there any advantage in price to buy in either city?
Does anyone know where or which company/store to buy from there?

Awesome. I'm coming over to Scotland next November for a wedding. My roots are from the Cluney area, I believe that is sort of near Edinburgh.
Would love to hear from you on areas near both to take pictures of.

You can still go with the Lightroom 3. I have a professional photo friend that won't upgrade to 4. She likes the features better than 4. You can down load a trial version for 30 days to give it a try. Elements had too much layers, upon layers to get to the final version on my pictures. It is after all a photoshop simpler version but I didn't like it no matter what. I'm not a pro-photo person but I like to have a good picture I can get printed.

I tried Elements & didn't like it. I have Lightroom & love it. it is similar to iPhoto. I can send you a link to show you how to transfer your images over to it. it is a bit of a process but worth it. you will have to disable your iPhoto so it won't open every time you want to up load.

I had the same problem. Here is a web site I used to transfer my iPhoto to Lightroom 4. www.photokaboom.com I used the method 4. only things is they will transfer in a dd/mm/yyyy you will have to rename.

I'm looking for a tour photo tour company that has trips to Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada or Colorado. I'm looking for a company that you have used. I love this area but want to go out with a group as hubby doesn't want to come & just stand around.

Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum, you've got some great pictures & ideas. I'm not a beginner but not advanced either. I'm always learning & enjoy what other people have tried even if it's not turned out. Learning by mistakes is the best way to do it.
My passion is travel photography. I am fortunate to finally have the time to do this. Over the past 5 years we have been the Egypt, various places in the Mediterranean, & Italy.
We are really looking forward to the Asia cruise we have booked in the new year.

We will be going to Singapore 2 days before leaving on a cruise taking us up to Hong Kong. Where are some great spots to take pics from. I want to get some of the city at night. We will also be going to Koh Samui, Bangkok, Sihanoukville, Ho Chi Minh, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Halong Bay ending in Hong Kong for two days. I'm looking for suggestions on these places too.
